Chapter Five

700 Words
The goddess of darkness, Eva, possessed many eyes in form of the numerous moons that revolved around the planets. These eyes which included the single moon that revolved in the third dimension, gave Eva the sight that the populated city of the elves, Atlantis, was situated at the sea beds. The dragons and their wildfire couldn't reach the depth, but he didn't tell him because his plans were different. Babel and Nimrod were not aware of the location of Atlantis, they did not know that elves could live beneath the surface of the sea. Babel underestimated Abel, leading the orcs to their first defeat in a real battle. Babel said, "They may have built cities in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, so that your dragons cannot reach them without passing over water, but you will out wit them by transporting the dragons to the moon in the second dimension. From there we shall rain chaos on your enemies with magma and fire from the sky." So Nimrod opened a portal that linked the city of Babylonia to the moon of Atlantis, where he kept all the dragons he had brought from Mesopotamia. He created another city on the moon and called it Olympia, he also created a den inside the luminous fortress where the gigantic reptiles dwelled. When his army had gathered in the new city of Olympia, prepared to fight their first battle Nimrod addressed them: Nimrod said, "Go forth to the planet and rain destruction onto those cities that are on the surface of the seas. Lay waste to anything that lives, from the birds of the sky to the fishes in the sea." So he mounted the largest of the dragons and flew for the planet. Some of his armed warriors also climbed the flying reptiles and followed their king to battle. On getting to the atmosphere of the planet, the orcs riding the dragons were ambushed by golden eagles. These large winged birds knocked many of the dragon riders off their beasts and into the Atlantic Ocean. Once inside the waters of the Atlantic, they were finished off quickly by Atlas. The eagles disappeared as suddenly as they had appeared from nowhere. By the time Nimrod and his army were well within the mid section of the atmosphere, large spikes of ice were shot at them from the ocean. The spikes killed a few dragons even as they let out flames from their mouths, although the flame they produced reduced the casualty they would have suffered. Nimrod was forced to retreat back to Olympia, but as he did he heard a voice in his head. Atlas said to Nimrod, "Go back to wherever you came from you devil. Your kind is not welcome here." Nimrod replied, "Who are you? I am Nimrod, the Dark king. And I have acknowledged you today as a worthy prey." Atlas replied, "I am not your prey, it is you who is the coward. Darkness will always run at the presence of light. I am Atlas, King of Atlantis and champion of Eden." It became clear to Nimrod that he was not as special as he had thought. Just as he had been helped by Babel, a wisp must be helping the elves. Abel said to Atlas, "You have won this battle, but the war is far from decided. It is too early to celebrate this victory. Let us give thanks to Eden for giving us this victory." Nimrod continued to the fourth dimension where the fourth planet with two moons orbited. The planet was filled with numerous mountains, and was a haven for aves of different varieties. The earth of the planet was red as blood but not as hot as the first and second planets, Nimrod built another city there and called it Sumeria; he also built two cities named Assyria and Akkadia on the twin moons of that dimension. He found no resistance on Sumeria except for scavenger birds, the animals on the planet were mostly bald eagles and vultures. Inside the mountains of the planet a certain variety of mammals lived in fear of these carnivorous aves. These mammals had hooves and fed on only plants.
