Carly was about to turn around, but he was startled by the presence of his wife who was already in front of him.
"What's wrong dear?" asked Valery when she saw the unusual look on her husband's face.
Carly sighed, but still chose to remain silent.
Out of curiosity Valery tried to see what was out there, the woman firmly believed that the cause was outside their room. Valery stepped onto the balcony and then, looking down where there was only Kylie and Arson doing their morning run together, there was nothing out of the ordinary.
Valery furrowed her brow and turned to face Carly again and found that her husband was no longer there. Valery stepped to look for her husband's whereabouts, apparently the man was sitting on the edge of their bed. The woman who was lucky to be one of Drake's daughters-in-law also approached her husband and sat next to Carly. Valery gently rubbed the arm of Drake Adams' second son.
"What's on your mind, dear?" she asked again in a very soft voice. Valery was truly a gentle woman, so similar to the late Emily.
"I noticed something strange about Arson," the man told his wife what he was feeling at the moment.
Valery immediately made a confused face at Carly.
"How strange? I see he's still like normal," Valery asked back with great curiosity.
Carly turned to the woman who would soon be giving her the title of father.
"For some reason, I feel that Arson's gaze is very different when he looks at Kylie. It's not like he's looking at a sibling, but as if he wants Kylie more than that," Carly explained, which confused Valery even more because her husband's words didn't make sense, a suspicion that should be dismissed.
The young pregnant woman smiled in response to her husband's words.
"It's just your feelings, dear. If the gaze you say is natural, isn't it? Arson does have the sharpest eyes among you, even his gaze can intimidate others. Maybe he's exploring Kylie's character because it's been a few years since we've met, which must have changed a lot inside Kylie," said Valey, trying to break her husband's bad thoughts about Arson's gaze.
"It's not just that, honey. His behavior is very different!"
Carly was still very sure in her mind that there was something Arson was hiding.
Valery smiled again. This time the young woman grasped her husband's hand tightly.
"I saw Arson treat Kylie the same way you guys treat her, there's no difference at all. Because Arson loves Kylie very much. Arson, the first son in this family. He will definitely take care of all his siblings, especially Kylie, the only woman in the Adams family. In fact, I saw Jeykey who really spoiled Kylie, as you told me that Jeykey was sick because Kylie left when she first went to Germany," Valery said trying to calm her husband, as well as open Carly's mind that it was all just her feelings that were exaggerated.
Carly turned to her wife, he actually wanted to say something, but before he could open his mouth, Valery said something that made him realize that he almost revealed a big secret in front of his wife.
"There's no way Arson has any feelings for Kylie, they're brothers, dear. It doesn't make any sense with your suspicions! How can you think like that, when I was never suspicious and jealous when you were close to Kylie because you are related by blood!" Valery explained again and she really hoped that this last explanation would make Carly understand that what her husband was thinking was too much.
Carly was still silent, he didn't know what to answer.
Seeing her husband who seemed to understand what she said made Valery say again, "Don't ever discuss this matter again, I'm afraid if Daddy and Arson hear it! It could cause misunderstandings between you,"
Carly tried to smile to cover something that he could not say to his wife. The man's hand also reached out to gently stroke his wife's hair then, nodded in understanding of what his wife said.
"Never mind, you'd better take a shower or join them for a workout downstairs," Valery said again.
Carly smiled mischievously at her wife.
"I'll exercise, but here, alone with you!" said Carly, who immediately laid her wife's body gently on the bed.
Valery was surprised by what Carly did.
"Hi, dear," Valery said while holding Carly's body above her using both hands.
"What's wrong, dear?" Carly asked in a soft voice.
"It's already noon. You'll be late!" said Valery refusing subtly because last night Carly had spurred the horse to increase the nutrition of the man who had a face that was a combination of Drake and Emily.
"It's still morning baby, one round is enough. I'm already exhausted from Arson!" he said, blaming his eldest.
The woman who was already under Carly's confinement also widened her eyes, even though Carly herself was wrong for thinking badly and excessively of the coldest man in the Adams family.
"But it's your fault-
Carly immediately silenced her wife's lips with a soft kiss to make her stop talking. Carly's hands began to surf every curve of Valery's body.
Kylie and Arson continued to make small runs towards the basketball court, both of them not expecting that Drake and Jevin were already there.
Arson was annoyed by the presence of the two men, because he could not spend the morning alone with Kylie. Even though it was Arson's goal to make an intake of enthusiasm before he went to the office.
"Daddy's daughter doesn't usually exercise in the morning," mocked Drake, who didn't seem to know that in Germany the routine had become a must for Kylie.
The youngest immediately purses her lips. "Daddy just doesn't know," she said in a spoiled tone.
Drake raised his eyebrows and looked at Kylie's men who were already on the basketball court.
The bodyguard nodded, as if to say that Kylie did it often.
"Looks like Daddy missed a lot of things about you. Daddy feels very sad," the old man joked with a sad face.
Kylie immediately folded her face.
"Daddy's not fit to make a face like that. Try repeating it again so you can become a Hollywood actor!" Kylie said while moving her hands and managed to make Drake, Jevian and the bodyguards laugh.
Finally the atmosphere of the Adams house came back to life after the return of Drake's favorite youngest daughter, usually the luxurious mansion seemed uninhabited. Moreover, Arson who spoke had to wait for the Full Moon first, then he would make a sound and even then only one word. Only Kylie often gave jokes, plus if it was put together with Jeykey, then the house would be even more full of laughter due to the jokes of the two.
Arson was silent, not giving any reaction.
Jevin who had been paying attention to Arson when the two of them arrived at the basketball court, the eldest's face seemed unhappy with their presence made Jevin curious, what made the first heir of the Adams family to put on a face like that.
