Arson's Rage Almost Exploded!

1839 Words
The news of the friendship between Kylie and the two girls from ordinary families had reached the ears of a man who had been waiting for this to happen for a long time. The man smiled happily because finally the plan he had neatly arranged went well, it was not in vain that he sacrificed the girls to get Kylie into his trap. Soon he would easily take down Drake Adams and avenge his father's death. "Finally soon you will feel what it's like to lose Drake Adams. Shouldn't a life be paid for with a life, then everything will be even? You won't just lose one life, I can finish off all your children by using your favorite daughter," said the man who was in a chair in a dark room, only visible fire from a cigarette he lit. Laughter erupted in the dark room. The man was really happy that the plan he had put together a few years ago was gradually coming to fruition and soon he could be sure that the rest of the plan would work as well. "I can't wait to bring you to your knees before the death of your five children," the man said. The mysterious man took a drag from the cigarette in his hand and released the smoke into the air as he leaned back, a smirk on his face. All the footage of the incident a dozen years ago was still clearly remembered in the man's memory, how the death of his father at the hands of Drake Adams was witnessed by himself. At the time of that terrifying incident, he was still a child. Had he not gotten out of his mother's car at that time, he might not have known about his father's tragic death at the hands of the infamous mobster. Not only did Drake take his father's life, but he also destroyed his father's business that he had started long ago and because of that, their mother had to struggle alone in working and raising her children until she finally fell ill from exhaustion and died when he was not yet in his teens. "I hate you, Drake Adams!" the man shouted as he kicked the table in front of him. *** "Remember Daisy, what Mom and Dad told you last night. Stay away from Miss Kylie! You must also remember that our family is not fit to be friends, let alone get close to the Adams family. It's not just that Mom and Dad are afraid of you becoming the target of Mr. Drake's wrath, but our social status also affects your friendship. Before Mr. Drake comes to us and threatens to stay away from his daughter, you better stay away from Miss Kylie first," Daisy's father said in the middle of their breakfast, before he and his two children left for school and college. "Yes, Daddy," Daisy replied listlessly and then looked down and resumed her breakfast. The girl's parents knew how Daisy felt about having to stay away from her new friend, but the girl's parents also didn't want their eldest daughter to be the target of Drake's dislike for having the audacity to want to be friends with the daughter of the famous businessman and mobster. At the Adams Family residence. "Dad, is it true that Daddy won't let me be friends with Daisy and Chloe if I've gotten information that they sincerely want to make me their friend?" Kylie asked when they were all gathered at the dining table. Everyone there looked at Kylie, and Valery was no exception. "Why not? As long as you look into it and leave no stone unturned," Drake replied as he nodded his head. Kylie turned to Juan who always stood not far from their dining table to make sure that all members of the Adams Family were fine. The man stood his ground with a straight face, even though he knew that Drake's favorite daughter wanted something. "Juan hasn't told Daddy to do anything yet," said Drake who understood what his youngest was thinking. "Has Daddy done anything to Viola and her friends yet?" asked Kylie who looked impatient to hear the latest news from the ringleader on their campus. Drake smiled, "Don't do anything to them! Just do what Daddy tells you to do." Drake reminded his youngest daughter. The famous businessman did not want Kylie to step in again to teach a lesson to the four girls who had upset his daughter. The other five people who were also enjoying their breakfast looked at their father because it was unusual for their father to stall like that. "What's wrong, Daddy's not usually like this," Kylie asked with a suspicious look. Drake explained to his youngest daughter that he didn't want Kylie to get her hands dirty for such insignificant things. People like Viola must be given a warning that can make her no longer be arrogant. In addition, Drake also told Kylie that the girl's goal of returning to Italy was to continue her education, not to take care of unimportant things like Viola and her friend. Kylie was forced to agree to her father's words, arguing was useless because she didn't have the courage, and even Arson couldn't refuse what Drake had determined. They all went back to their breakfast. It was not Kylie's name if she kept quiet in front of all her family members, the girl would continue to open the conversation between them. The girl brought a new color to the Adams family. If only there was no Kylie's presence in their midst, it was possible that at this time the luxurious mansion looked stiff and seemed uninhabited because all the humans who occupied it lived in seriousness and flat-faced. That's how Valery felt during her marriage to Carly before Kylie's return from Germany, she was lonely and it felt like her cheeks were cramping up from not laughing at all during the time with some of her husband's family members because no one made any jokes in it except, when Carly had returned to the room, then she could be a little entertained. "Daddy," Kylie's call made Drake Adams' son and daughter-in-law stop their hand gestures and look directly at Kylie, as well as the old man at the end of the chair. "What's wrong, Daddy's beautiful daughter?" the black market ruler asked. "Dad, does Daddy accept everyone who is sincere to our family regardless of the social status between our family and that person's family?" Kylie asked. The girl's questions always led to things that Drake and his four sons, who are notorious for their cruelty towards enemies, never thought about. "Just tell me what's on your mind, Daddy's favorite?" Drake asked again. Kylie shook her head, "Nothing, I'm just asking. If Daddy allowed me to be friends with anyone regardless of what that person has, even if my friend is from a humble family. Then, what if I love and even dream of marrying someone like that? Would Daddy still allow it or strongly oppose it?" Kylie's question made them all surprised, especially Arson who immediately turned his head quickly towards the girl sitting beside him. Arson thought that if Kylie had uttered such a sentence, it was likely that there was a man who had made the woman who had been in his heart for many years fall in love. The tension was depicted on Arson's handsome face, he didn't even blink his eyes when looking at Kylie. Carly and Jevin saw it clearly and even asked themselves. "Are you in love? Is there a guy who has managed to melt your heart? That fast? You've only been in college for one day," Arson chided, and the handsome young man didn't even notice the questions that came out of his mouth. The questions should have been asked by Drake as a father to his youngest daughter. Carly and Jevin looked even more suspiciously at the eldest because it was not like Arson usually showed such things, the reprimands that Arson often gave them did not make the man's face red and frightened. "Is it true what Arson is thinking if you're in love? Who is that guy?" asked Drake with a cold face. Don't know why he's not ready for that to happen. To Drake, Kylie is still his little girl and doesn't deserve to know love. Drake doesn't want his favorite daughter to be the plaything of irresponsible men out there, even Drake forgets that he is the controller in several European countries. It is highly unlikely that anyone would dare to treat his beloved daughter like that because that would certainly directly deal with him and also his four proud sons. All of them would have stepped in to help Kylie and then eradicate the man to his roots. "Looks like it's true Dad that Kyl is in love and mesmerized by the good looks of some of the students on campus," chirped Jeykey, who chimed in with his father and eldest brother, further inflaming Arson. The fire of jealousy burned Arson's chest even more. He wanted to go straight to the man and assert that Kylie belonged to him, but he decided against it. The man also realized that he and Kylie could not be together, considering they were brothers. One family that cannot love each other. Kylie quickly turned to Jeykey with a glare in her eyes. The girl did not accept the words of the brother who was 2 years above her because she was not in love with another man, other than Arson. "What did you say Jey?" asked Kylie with a folded face then the girl looked at her father. The owner of the blue bead was so surprised that not only her father was making a displeased face at her, but also Arson, the man she loved so much. "It's all not true, Jeykey is just lying. How could I fall in love so fast in one day," Kylie said to the two men who were still staring at her, as if they wanted to swallow her alive. Kylie looked back at Jeykey. "Hurry up and tell Daddy that it was just a lie! I don't want Daddy to punish me," Kylie pleaded with Jeykey who still looked calm because he knew it was just a joke. Not only would Drake be furious if he heard that Kylie had set her heart on a man, but Jeykey would also do the same, so he would be the first one to investigate the man and even if necessary, he would ask the man not to hope to love his youngest sister. "Yes, Daddy. Kylie is in love," Jeykey said with a serious face. Arson who heard that was also trying hard to contain his jealousy and anger that was ready to explode at any moment, the man's breath would almost catch if he didn't control it. Drake's face looked even more displeased at Jeykey's words.
