Dexter growled within me, my eyes glowing in red as my wolf took over my vision. The disrespect that I have been tolerating from Maddox has suddenly become unbearable. How dare he barge into my room like that?
I met his gaze head-on as my growl became the only sound that filled the room. Maddox took a step back, there was a flash of fear in his eyes before they suddenly vanished.
