Chapter 43
Waking up beside Ruby, the sunrise was already starting to set.
“Damn it!” Jaxon cursed as he slowly sat up from the bed. He overslept. He turned his head to look at the table clock on top of the drawer near his bedside. It was almost 8.
He looked around the room before looking at the woman who was curled up beside him. Sleeping so soundly.
“So peaceful” he murmured as he found himself watching her sleep. She looked so peaceful.
He looked at the time yet again and calculated the number of hours that he slept. 10 hours. He had never slept that long in his life, except when he was a baby of course.
Jaxon carefully got out of bed as he did not want to wake her up. He was late for work.
Striding to the shower, he had his bath, before stepping out. Ruby was still sleeping.
