Damon pulled up at the large apartment complex and checked his phone to make sure he was at the right building.
He didn't know why landlords liked having similar looking buildings right next to each other,he thought wryly as he glanced down the street to see two more nearly identical apartment complexes.
He made it to the front of the building before his phone chimed in his pocket. He reached for his phone and saw Jaxon's contact flashing across the screen.
He wasn't surprised because he swore Jaxon had the uncanny ability to call him at the right time.
He definitely knew Jaxon was calling to ask about any developments. And warn him off doing anything that he didn't ask, Damon thought with a smile.
He flicked the screen and took the call. "Hello,"
