The taxi Kim took pulled up in front of the exquisite five-star hotel Damon had booked. She stared at the building in awe before looking at the surroundings.
The guards and other employees she had met so far were nice. And an air of superiority came over her as they addressed her as ma'am and asked her if she needed anything.
She pulled out her phone and dialed Damon's number. This time around, he picked up on the second ring.
"I don't see you," she said, then glanced around to make sure she had gotten a proper look. Earlier, he had called and told her he would be waiting at the lobby and that she shouldn't bother going straight up to the room he booked.
