Chapter 29-02
"Nope," Joel said, steering me towards the upstairs bathroom where the shower was. "I've met the most awesome dino there is and it isn't Solar."
I stopped in my tracks. "You did? You met a dino even more awesome than Solar without me?" I felt my bottom lip tremble at the betrayal. "How could you?"
"I mean you, dummy," Joel said, rolling his eyes.
"Oh." I grinned. Then grinned wider as I realized that he thought I was the best dino ever! "Dino kisses?"
"Once you're all clean, sure."
I didn't accept that. I stomped my foot and glared until he gave in, rubbing his nose across mine in the kind of way that instantly brought a smile to my face. I rewarded him with a kiss. Then it was Joel's turn to smile.
