Lara I half-smiled, trying my best to come off as weak before I raised my head . "I'm afraid I would already be unconscious by the time you get back." He crouched down to my level immediately he heard those words staring at me with pity in his eyes. "Why? Are you okay?" He asked and I smiled, shaking my head. "I don't think I will be. A whole day with a banging headache wouldn't be fine," I said, sparking a little bit of concern in him. "Then maybe." I sighed before I continued in a low tone "Maybe,I would also lose my memory forever." His eyes widened as soon as he heard those words,he grabbed onto my hands smiling softly. “We can go to the doctor — tomorrow, or even today if you want. Should I grab my keys?” He got up to his feet in a state of panic. I raised my head to him as I shook my head. "No, it's fine for today. But I don't want to waste your time. You have to.." he placed a finger on my lips, shutting me up. "You aren't disturbing me, don't worry about it.I can even.." he said and I shook my head immediately knowing what he was planning to say. "There wouldn't be any need for that. You can just tell the driver to take me there,no need to stress you." I smiled and he nodded, getting up. "Take care of yourself, I will check up on you tomorrow." He smiled and I nodded as he walked away closing the door behind him. My smile dropped as I heard his footsteps fade. I locked the door behind him as I moved closer to the cupboard. I opened it, finding the secluded and hidden corner which opened up at the feel of my fingers.Looking in closer, I could sight it. The box. I pushed my hand forward ready to grab it when I remembered that I didn't know the passcode. I sighed in defeat. A little afraid that cameras could be watching and I would lose my only leverage. I closed up the cupboard. Pulling out the clothing which I eventually put on, I could not let them suspect anything. ** A bang came on my door which I later realised for it to be Helen. Only she would want to get on my nerves. I opened the door, still yawning as the driver came into sight. "It's you?" I asked in bewilderment. Where did he find the courage to bang on my door? "Yes," he said, his hands trembling and I understood immediately. Looking to the side,I saw Helen grinning from ear to ear as I scoffed. To think she was now a coward. “Give me a second. And tell her—I'm not playing her games today." I screamed on the last sentence making sure my words were just loud enough for when to hear. Later at Hilton Hospital, I watched the doctor squint at my results... "Nothing seems wrong with the results I'm seeing here, are you sure you don't have any memories," I squinted my eyes as the doctor asked before a smile rose on my face. I shook my head, seeping back on the chair. "This result will really get me in trouble." I sighed, staring deeply at the result I held in my hands. The doctor looked at me a little confused. "Why?" "He has a wife and she hates me to the core. For some reason she thinks I don't deserve to be in the house as long as I have my memories" I said leaving him shocked. He raised a brow as he sat back in his chair. "But there is a high possibility that you don't have my memory. I mean your first result was similar." I sighed, shaking my head. Staring daggers at the papers I spoke, "But there is also a high possibility that I do. After all, the results are only similar not the same," He raised a brow leaning in on his table. "Are you asking me to forge some documents for you?" I shook my head immediately when I heard that. I gazed at him as I continued. "No, I'm just telling you to help me say it in a way that would be convincing. Please, this is my only way to survive." I could see a glint of worry in his eyes as I said this. I smiled slowly, taking the document into my hands. "But if you can't, it's fine. I will just.." I trailed off as I got up to my feet staring blankly into space before I sighed. "Wait" His voice came, through a groan of struggle and fear. "I'll do this or you just I don't want any accusations later on." A smile rose on my face with those words as I shook my head negatively. "Definitely not. My mouth is sealed." I said and she nodded, laying back on his chair. "Okay," he muttered in a low tone. "Thank you very much," I smiled as I shook his hand, and grabbed the papers for prescription on the table. "I will be expecting you to say it to him." I smiled and he scoffed, looking the other way as I chuckled lightly. "Thanks a lot." I bolted out the door, with a feeling of excitement. My plan was advancing smoothly.i soon arrived at the pharmacy and dropped the prescription with them . The scent of drugs hit my nostrils again as the memory of Liam's words flashed through my head. He was planning to kill me if he got the chance to. I contemplated staring at the location that I stood, this was the pharmacy, the exact place where I could get what would unalive him. "Here's the pills, complete the payment procedure at the other counter." I smiled as I collected it into my head, leaning in closer. "Do you have anything... powerful? Something that might be risky in the wrong hands?” The nurse raised a brow. "You mean..?" She paused as I nodded. Her eyes widened as she spoke, her voice reaching the roofs "You need pills to kill?" The crowd fell silent with those words, all eyes on us with curiosity on their faces.
