Memories Back.

Lara Memories flooded in as I laid on the hospital bed. All my memories are restored. A tear dropping from my eye to think that I, the first and rightful girlfriend was acting as the side chick? What a joke. Evan made me lose all my properties and was still cheating on me with another woman, at the last minute he pushed me to lose my memories and to think that he still kept me by his side as a MAID! I was so dumb! So dumb to think of confronting him, so dumb to believe him. TWICE! "Is she okay now?" I heard his voice from outside and I immediately cleaned off my tears while I layed down on the bed, closing my eyes immediately. "Yes. You can see her now," With that I heard footsteps approaching, the steps came to a stop and I felt his hands on mine. "Lara, you are really a strong soul. But you mustn't leave yet. I still need your original part of the shares and the password to your secret account." I balled my hands into a fist beneath the sheets. To think that with all he stole he wasn't satisfied and still wanted more, he couldn't even leave me a chance for survival and still converted the money in my secret account! What a greedy man! He soon let go of my hands and I immediately knew where he was next headed, I opened up my eyes slowly, blinking twice as I saw him standing before me. "You are awake!" He screamed in excitement and fear probably because he was afraid that I would have maybe recovered my memories already. "Doctor!" He screamed but I immediately held his hands turning his attention immediately towards me. "Is she gone? Is she gone now?" I asked and he nodded as he crunched down to my level. "Don't worry about it. If she doesn't want to go to jail, she will never come near us again." He said and I smiled, with Helen out of the picture it would just be a snap of my fingers before I got my revenge on him. "Do you.. remember anything from the past?" He asked, his voice a little shaky and I stared at him for a while. A glint of his eyes carried expectation but the other fear, I smiled as I shook my head negatively. "I hope I do soon though," he sighed as he patted my hair slowly. "You will, you will." He smiled sheepishly while I smirked inwardly. It was GAME ON! After finishing the procedures at the hospital, he led me to the car, helping me settle in. Closing the door, he took a glance at me and asked "Are you sure you don't remember anything?" his eyes blinked repeatedly, staring to see what next I would do. I paused for a while. Taking a deep breath in, I squinted my eyes, raising my hand to my head messaging it. I frowned my face showing obvious signs of discomfort, I managed to speak out my voice hoarse and uncertain "I..I can't." I groaned, lowering my head as he held on to my hand. "You don't have to try, don't worry you'll remember later." He smiled as I nodded and he turned away, a low grin on his face, I scoffed as I turned away looking out the window. The gut he had to use me and still be repentful sparked something in that made me angry. "Lara!" He soon called snapping me out of my thoughts "We've arrived," I ohed as I pushed open the door, closing the door. I moved closer to the doorstep but I paused. "Wait." I paused looking intensely at him, "What about Helen, she's not going to come to attack me right?" I shook, my hands shaky as my voice became hoarse. He moved closer as he held my hand tightly, "Don't worry? I'll never let her do that." I sighed, as he held me inside the house. A smile rose on his face, as looked around. "Let's go, I'll get you back to your mom." His words immediately sparked a memory. ** "This place looks shabby, I don't want to go in," I said, my head bandaged as Evan grinned from ear to ear. "Come on trust me, you just have to stay here for a few hours. After I convinced Helen. I would let you out, to an even better room," he smiled. I walked in hesitantly, him slowly locking the door behind me. Despite just being involved in an accident, I cleaned up the entire room, setting the junk to a side. Only to find the door locked. I banged, cried and shouted for hours but no one came. "Help.." I called in desperation. My voice already faint, my heart racing heavily with my face long turned pale. Only then did he open the door with a feigned look of concern on his face but he only dropped food and some comforting words before he left. He fed me with these for days and foolish me could only believe his lies. How dumb I was. My eyes sparkled, as I faced him with a definite smile. "Since she's gone now. Can I perhaps..." I paused, changing my tone to sound gentle, to sound dumb and scared. "Stay in a better room." He raised a brow as his eyebrows knitted and I smiled lowly. "It's also..." He paused my words, a smile growing on his face. Of course he wouldn't want me detesting him. "Don't worry about it. Just pick any room you want," I smiled as I pointed towards Helens. His eyes sparked immediately. "No, that can't be possible." I looked at him sharply before I softened my gaze "Why? Don't tell me you are still hung up on her." I said my voice a little low and he smiled. "Anywhere but there. I promise you," he said, his hands shaking and I nodded. Finally pointing to where I really wanted to be. "What about. Here?"
