Nanny in the dungeon

It's been 2 weeks since the nanny tried to kill me. I stood up suddenly and walked out of the dining hall. Everyone stops looks at each other then chase after me. By the time they caught up I was arguing with the guard at the door of the dungeon. He kept saying the King said nobody is allowed in the dungeons AT ALL he screams in my face Santos was by my side in a flat second The king was on my other side the the guard looked liked he was hyperventilating. I looked at my mate and the King and said let me handle this please. They looked at and realized Rose was in control they both gladly stepped back. The guard looked at them but they said nothing and did nothing so he thought he was safe to be even more aggressive towards me as soon as he took a step towards me I had him on the ground out cold. I looked back at the men and said let's go now. they just kinda shook their heads and followed behind me my family followed behind them other guards seen us coming and just moved aside smart of them. I reach her cell and stand there watching her sitting on the bunk just looking in to the dark with a list look on her face. Gradually she feels me staring at her and jumps because I'm quiet she slowly gets up and walks towards the cell door and stops in front of me. Looks at and asks "what are you?" I reply I can be your salvation or your death which do you prefer. She silently watches but quietly says can you help me get my children back before the war starts. I look at her and ask is that what they threatened you with your children. She looks sadly at me I see her past struggles in her eyes and I can't see her memories of a happy time with Lucian taking her out to fancy places spending money on her making her feel like a queen until one she found out she was pregnant but never remembered having s*x with Lucian they had only been on 5 dates and she had a 10 date rule no s*x til 10 dates she has stuck with that one rule since high school. I look at the King and say she was coerced into doing this because Lucian did to her what he did to me and many others. She looked shocked then started to silently cry. Anyway I started feeling lightheaded and she acted all concerned but as soon as I was laying down she plunged a syringe into my neck next thing I know I woke up in that DR office without my son's and Lucian was there just sitting there watching me drugged out of my mind that lady came back gave me a shot of adrenaline and I popped up looking for my babies Lucian said he had my son's and the only way to get them back is kill you he sent me with false documents saying you would be here soon do be prepared. i waited almost 4 months before you came by then I was desperate. Lucian would send me videos of my boys in cages like animals. I gently bring her out of the cell she didn't even realize I did that until she looked up at me again thank you for letting me know which one you want to do i tell her she looks confused but i didnt tell you. I smile at her and say you don't have to voice your thoughts to me I already knew where your heart was I just needed to confirm it myself. I looked at Santos and the King Lucian has a lab in is office building under ground facilities I don't know how many are being held there but her 3 boys are in dog kennels being treated like dogs with shock collars and all and they are barely a year old I said silently crying. Santos pulls me into him and just lets me cry my mom goes to Alisha and takes her somewhere to take a shower get clean clothes and food in her stomach. I gradually pull away from Santos when fo we go in to get those babies back I ask softly. Santos was about to protest my comment when he looked into my eyes and sighed because he knew I wasn't going to be left behind. Santos looked at James and said we need blueprints of that office building ASAP. James started walking and dialing. I looked at Santos with fear in my eyes please don't die on me Santos I whispered. He says the same thing at the same time as me. We both sigh because we know there is no guarantee about life or death that is why we are put on this earth to be born and die it doesn't say anything about the in between. We all quietly leave the dungeons. Everyones mind on loved ones and if after all this is over who will be left standing and who will not be here with us. Everyone held their loved ones a little closer after my talk with h Alisha. After dinner I went to Alisha room which was 2 doors down from me. I knocked softly and waited she opened the door a crack to see who it was. When she saw me she asked me if I needed something I said can speak to you about something private. She nods and opens the door wider. I walk and look around the room is spotless. Good she didn't prove me wrong. I turn to Alisha and ask did she have any plans on where she will live after we get her boys back. For a minute she opened her mouth to say something then her shoulders slumped and she whispered softly I don't have anyone who cares or will help me so I haven't thought that far ahead yet. I gesture for her to sit while we talk. She perched on the edge of the chair afraid everything I have granted her I'm her to take away. I sigh and Alisha I have a proposition for you. Are willing to hear me out before you give me an at. You can even take time to think about it. She nods. Ok when we get your sons back I think it would be best if you stay on pack lands because you do realize your sons are half werewolf and being in the human world isn't something we like others to know about unfortunately Lucian got his information about from his sister Carmela my biological mother who was human my father before he met his father mate which all werewolfs have its as humans would say your soulmate but, in the werewolf kingdom mates are felt deep within our souls which iscour wolfs. Ok sorry getting off the subject your sons are blood related to the King my brother in law and my fated mate Santos which is the kings half brother. So I would like to know would you be willing to live in Santos and my pack with your boys we will provide housing if you don't want to live in the main house with us. I know some people need their own space. what kinda of work did you do when you were working or what do you want to do. She looks down like she is embarrassed to say. I gently put my hand over here and say whatever you want or need just ask me don't feel embarrassed or afraid. She looked up at me and said that she always worked in diners as a waitress but her dream is to own her own home and open a bakery because she loves baking more than anything. She smiles and her face lights up talking about baking. When suddenly she stops and her shoulders sag but, that's all a pipe dream. I grip her hand and feel the calluses from hot pans burning her finger tips. I turn her hand over she tries to pull it back out of my grip but I gently put her hand in between mine and they heat up for like 2 seconds then I soothe her hands and take mine away. Her eyes widen in disbelief all her calluses and burns are gone. She looks at and says I would love to come live in your pack with my son's but I honestly prefer my own home I think it's the Amish in me living with people. I will make sure your home is big enough for you and your boys which would be a 4 bed 2 bath House her mouth dropped I don't need that big of a place 2 bed 1 bath will be sufficient I laughed Alisha you have 3 growing werewolf's in your home they need a lot of room and eventually your gonna need your personal space too. believe me I know I have twin brothers and triplet sisters and triplets myself her eyes grew bigger with each word suddenly she said what am I going to do I don't know anything about raising children much less werewolf children she almost screeches that last word. I couldn't stop myself I fell off the couch laughing at her reaction. She huffed well it wasn't that funny. I got up still giggling and told that's why I want you to stay we all help each other in our packs. She looks at me and said I did notice that about everyone here. I giggle in joking Alisha yes pack life is very family oriented but you also have the security of being always watched over . She straightened her back looked me in the eyes and said thank you for everything you are doing for me and I would love to live with your pack with my boys. As I stand to leave I tell her your not a prisoner anymore you can leave your room. She looks down and says to her hands. Everyone hates me for what I did or tried to do. Why don't you hate me. Instead you treat me with more kindness than anyone I have ever known. I look at her and kindness doesn't cost anything and I know for a fact none of the women you worked with or befriended here hate you maybe if you sit them down and explain why you did what you did they will be understanding. She stands to walk me to the door as she opens it the young girl Laura was getting ready to knock. Surprised her for second. oh Luna sorry you startled me I came to ask Alisha if she wanted to have dinner with all of the Nanny's tonight it seem all the children are with your parents for the whole night so we have a night unexpectedly. She looked hopefully at Alisha. Alisha fidgeted with her fingers. I looked Laura straight in the eyes and asked. Do you or any of the other Nanny's hold a grudge against Alisha for what happened. Laura gasped OMG no way we would NEVER hold a grudge when someone is doing something to save their children. Laura looked at Alisha and said with all earnestly said "THE CHILDREN MUST BE PROTECTED AT ALL COST FROM ANYONE WILLING TO HARM THEM" ALISHA started crying Laura pushed past me and wrapped Alisha in a hug that spoke volumes about this young lady I quietly close the door and walk away with to many thoughts in my head to count or process.
