"No, that's the funny thing, I don't understand." he snapped, attempting to strike her with his hand only to have it held down. She grasped at it relentlessly with every fiber of her body screaming for to just snap his arms, but she didn't. Despite all the f****d up things humans have done to her kind, she still wanted peace; she still wanted to coexist with one another without death littering the path they each walk on. She tilted her head to the size, seizing his legs that threaten to kick and squirm in her grasp, watching him like this was like watching a bird struggle in its cage.
"Why are you so determined to kill us?"
He nearly scoffed at the dumb inquiry, if it wasn't obvious enough. If he hadn't screamed it enough time for her to finally just engrave his words into that tiny brain of hers, "Because you kill-"
"Don't give me that half-assed excuse-- you kill your own kind as well, pathetic." she retorted suddenly nonchalant by his lack of details, such bullshit. He can act as if they were monsters all he wanted, but deep down he knows humans aren't exactly saints themselves, or that intelligent either if they're really this desperate as to engage a suicide squad to come to their hideout without the slightest bit of knowledge about their kind, and how easily they could tear these humans apart. "What happened to you? Why are you being so irrational?"
"Things happen, okay?"
"Oh, oh, oh!" she exclaimed childishly, suddenly the female is more than giddy, "let me guess! Your daddy was killed by a ghoul and now your entire life is dedicated to getting sweet revenge for dear old daddy."
'
"Far from it actually."
Her shoulder slouched in dismay, slightly upset by getting the answer wrong. Though she quickly shook her head, realizing that that should've been considered a good thing, not something she should be bummed out by. She stared at him in surprise that such an unreasonable human being didn't have anything to do with ghouls, though she probably shouldn't be so quick to assume that nothing happened; perhaps it was his mother? He begins to avoid eye contact, the sudden change in atmosphere at his meek and seemingly depressed state caused her to tilt her head in confusion, was her assumption about his mother correct?
"My father was killed by a human-- another Ninja," he mumbled, she chuckled in surprise.
"Then why are you so desperate to get rid of us?"
"I've seen your kind kill before." he spat, acting as if his kind was any more innocent than hers, she chuckled in surprise, flopping down on top of his body as she practically roared with laughter on the nap of his neck, he shuddered at the feel of her breath tingling on his skin, "What the hell!"
"Oh- oh my God! I can't believe how delusional you are!" She laughed even harder, her body hunched over to help suppress the laughter in the slightest, but to no avail. He seemed baffled by how lightly she was taking this, knows how much of a hypocrite he was being but.... "God this is unbelievable!"
"They.... they killed my...."
"You're able to laugh at the dead?" He inquired, her laughing came to a halt, and he involuntarily gulped at the sudden silence that erupted between the two of them; not even the grandma said anything or even make any sudden movements. She lifted up her head, gray eyes threatening dark brown. Breaking eye contact, she rolled her eyes intending to showcase her exasperation at his every little change in the subject like he was refusing to listen to her reasoning.
"I'm not laughing at the dead, I'm laughing at your hypocrisy. Something happened, and I know something did."
The door suddenly slammed open, their eyes turned to the human who stood there in surprise and confusion. The bewilderment that overtook him-- until Akio realized something. The shock in his eyes... it was that of a mother's who've just walked into two teenagers... doing 'it'. Akio begins to panic, as Elizabeth on the other hand merely sighed in lethargy and exhaustion, seemingly uninterested in the whole thing. Until the same realization practically hit her when Akio begin to practically beg him.
"This-this... THIS ISN'T WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" He screeched as the young Ninja begin taking steps back, he struggled harder in the woman's grasp, even trying to headbutt the girl, but she was far too familiar with every single struggle humans attempt to use, so, she sat up, straddling his hips. Her grip on his hand, however, never loosened in the slightest. The young Ninja looked at her for answers, and so she did.
"It's exactly what it looks like." she bantered.
"WHAT?!" the blush kissing his cheeks did not go unnoticed by the mischievous ghoul above him.
"Hey human." she shook, gaining his awestruck attention, he shivered under her intense ghoul, a harsh blush settled on his entire face, including his neck like a love-struck teenager. She grinned playfully, the cheeky grin that curled her lips and the glint in her eyes did not help his pounding heart, "boo!"
"OH s**t!"
