"Ehh, Seven! You're so cruel!" Naruto whined like my threat was nothing of importance. For a second I stood there, completely stunned by his lack of fear, hell, even Sasuke seemed to have relaxed after hearing that, not that he tensed up as much as I would've hoped. Are they getting comfortable with me? Impossible.
What kind of fuckery is this?
I sat there quietly, my lips squeezed shut in a thin line, along with my wide eyes. I must look like a lost puppy right now, I even felt a little dejected at the little reaction I got from the two males. Still, in a daze, I dumbly scoffed before returning back to my food and simply stared while poking it, it was quite easy for me to register that they're most likely all staring at me like I had just spurted wings and flown. Even the old man had to clear his throat just to get rid of the confused and tense atmosphere surrounding them all, but even so, he was cut-off when Naruto energetically call out to me once again, causing my head to snap up, I hissed softly, from the almost-whiplash the boy nearly cost me.
"What?" I inquired.
"Who do you think is better at nin-"
"Me."
"No, I meant between me and Sa-"
"Still me."
"Seven!"
"What do you think, Sensei?" I turned to him, smirking at his sweat-dropping form while his forehead begins to form layers of sweat from the sudden attention he gained and not exactly a pleasant one. He nervously glanced around, his eyes landing on each of his students alongside with the smirking old man grinning at him and the giggling woman at the sink, along with a clearly sadistic teenage monster. A very sadistic one. I knew that. I knew what he was thinking and to be honest, the way his eyes screamed "you're evil" at me, made me chuckle even more. He knew that if he chose either Naruto or Sasuke it would cause a problem between the two of them even more so, meaning they'd be more focus on one upping each other more than they already do and completely ignore the task at hand. They'd probably obsess over it more than they already do. Though, choosing either Sakura or myself would cause some problems as well. Think about it, if Kakashi was to say that Sakura was better than Sasuke at Ninjutsu, she'd be devastated and mope around for the rest of her life assuming that Sasuke automatically hates her. Seven seems to be the only safe option at this point. Choosing Naruto or Sasuke would just make one of them fall into deep depression.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! Who's the best, Sensei?!" Naruto suddenly beamed loudly, exclaiming while jumping around in his seat like an excited puppy.
"I believe all my students are equal."
"Bullshit!" Seven dragged out amusingly loud, her grin would put the Cheshire cat to shame at this point. "Come on, Kakashi! Spit it!"
"Don't tell me how to live my life." he sassed quietly, but my ears didn't fail me just yet.
"I will kill you." I threatened half-heartedly, much to his dismay.
He signed loudly, rethinking his decisions and how to escape this situation without harming and feelings, to be completely honest, I wouldn't be harmed. Why would I care? I'm just here to feed my ego and to maybe rub it in Naruto's and Sasuke's faces later on. "Seven."
"WHAT?!" They all screamed in unison, even the old man choked on his tea while his daughter merely just giggled in amusement and watch the scene played out. I beamed happily, slamming the piece of the arm back on my plate and stood up proudly.
"YOOO YOU MOFOS CAN SIT YO PEASENT ASSES DOWN AND BOW-"
"SHADDUP, SEVEN!"
The rest was mostly me being forced to shut the f**k up and go back to eating, Naruto and Sasuke shooting me death glares while Sakura sweat-dropped but also manages to gush over Sasuke's glare being intimating yet sexy. We've literally just finished eating and now everybody has a tea placed in front of them, apart from me of course. My mother actually told me that we can drink tea, needed a specific ingredient, sadly, I don't have it. Nor do I want to waste the poor woman's time. Unfortunately, a little child came along and joined us for dinner, and now you know why I was forced to shut up, God only knows how much 'bad words' would come out of my mouth.
"Excuse me, why is there a torn picture hanging here?" Everybody's attention turned to Sakura, even if some of them weren't looking, "Inari was looking at this all through dinner. This torn part looks like someone who was in the picture was deliberately torn off."
After those words have left her mouth, I deadpanned. How blind could this girl possibly be? This is a whole new level of oblivion and yet she's considered one of the smartest members between the two humans, however, I was slowly beginning to question that. Think carefully about what she just said, gentle readers, "deliberately torn off", on purpose, "Inari was looking at it all through dinner", reminiscing, not to mention, it looks like a family picture. "Sakura, do you ever think before you speak?"
"HAH?!"
"It's my husband." The woman claimed softly, it was clear in the tone of her voice that the mention of it had hurt her.
"You i***t!" I hissed as Sakura jerked back in surprise, gritting her teeth she glared at me hard.
"No... it's quite alright." She quickly stated, though I still leaned back in my seat and glared at Sakura, she barely even knows the family and she's already being extremely nosy. How annoying.
"He's a man who was once called a hero of this town."
"Inari where are you going?!"
Once again my eyes narrowed at the guilty girl standing next to the picture, while she shrinks down noticeably in size.
Seriously... I know having drama in the team would just be a waste of time.. but I'm having such a hard time liking Sakura.
