Chapter 1: The Introduction

1134 Words
"Sakura Haruno," at the sound of her name, the girl perked up gingerly, anxiety running through her veins while her thoughts continued to ponder anxiously, chanting in her head the same words over and over again 'Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke...'. Though her wishes remained unanswered, "Naruto Uzumaki." "Yay!" Naruto's outburst caused Seven's lower eye to twitch, hissing slightly at the aftermath of the quick torment her sensitive ear had to endure because of his childish cries of joy. "Sasuke Uchiha," the dreaded name pierced through Naruto's joy like an arrow, though it was almost as if it went past him and moved onto Sakura when the girl was next to mimic his cries. His hair covered the top half of his face while his eyes were firmly planted on the desk in complete disappointment at the mere news alone, once again, the war has begun between the two males. Seven's sigh of relief was cut short, she was thankful her name hadn't been called out to be in a group with any one of those idiots. With that being said, her fate had other plans in mind. "Seven Kobayashi," her groan rang throughout the entire class as her hands shielded her face from the rest of her 'peers', the sensei only took a moment to chuckle, though his eyes glinted with pity for her poor soul. However that pity wasn't enough for him to attempt to help her out once so ever, he only continued to with his assignment. "What have I done to deserve such a cruel punishment?" Seven! You're supposed to be waiting in the classroom with us!" Sakura exclaimed at Seven's bold behavior. Seven's eyes shot her a resentful look, threatening for Sakura to even dare to give her such a lecture. She did wait, longer than needed. If the sensei does not wish to meet them, then so be it. "A sensei who doesn't even have stable time management skills. What a joke." Her once sweet voice chirping the very simple line in their ears. Her voice was smooth as velvet and her soft tone was like honey, melting in their ears; sharing the same trait as a soothing chiming bell. Though at the current moment, it shifted to her other side that she tried so desperately to suppress, the passive aggression that laced tightly in her voice. The look in her eye was all the more reason for Sakura to jot back in surprise, "when he arrives, I'll be lounging on a rooftop. I suppose you'll all get your first task as soon as Sensei arrives. Mission Objective: find Seven Kobayashi." "Tch, we hadn't even met the Sensei yet and you're already ditching?" Sasuke's cold resenting voice sliced through her opportunity of leaving this more than dead room. "Is that going to be a problem, Sasuke?" Seven challenged, taking a step towards the seated boy before her. She knew she should suppress her anger and shouldn't overreact to such a small comment that she could've easily shaken off, but everybody knows never to push a girl's buttons further than it already was. "Don't talk to Sasuke like that!" Sakura practically flew towards Seven's being. Sakura's larger frame towering over Seven petite one, though she didn't shy away, "Get away from him!" Seven's eyes nearly begin to water at that, the fishy scent ripping through Sakura's throat, her hot breath finding its place on Seven's skin. Seven's body instinctively jumped back, crunching on top of a desk while her hand clasped tightly around her nostrils, trying her best to suppress the still lingered in her system. Must've triggered the human side of Seven. "What the hell?!" Seven screech of distress distracted Naruto from his childish prank, his head shot to watch the scene unfold before him, "Why the hell do you smell like a can of tuna?!" the harsh inquiry was more than enough for Sakura to blush in embarrassment, she honestly wouldn't mind if a hole in the floor opened up and swallowed her whole at the moment. In fact, she'd gladly jump on her herself. Her hand clasped around her mouth. SMACK "Shut up! It was because I was eating fish earlier, okay?!" she mumbled protest didn't go unheard by Seven's ears, and she only rolled her eyes at that statement. Deciding to let it go and not be petty, she was surprised herself by how moody she could get. 12 Years and she still couldn't get used to her own bipolar personality. Oh, how moody she could be. "Whatever, I'm out of here." It wasn't even five minutes after you left the classroom a gloved hand slid the door open. The sound went unheard by Sakura as she continued to rant on and on about the disrespectful ghoul- I mean, a girl who had recently taken her leave. "I mean seriously, hasn't her parents ever taught her some manners?!" The boys, on the other hand, noticed within a mere second, their breathing hitched as they waited for the reaction of their Sensei against his fate. The eraser wobbled, tipping over the edge... a soft 'thump' was heard as it came into contact with the Jounin's head. A cloud of white dust emerged after the impact. Like a frightened puppy, Sakura released her self-defense mechanism in a situation such as this. She threw on a mask and acted as innocently as she possibly could. "I'm so sorry, sir! I tried to stop Naruto, but he did it anyways! I would never do something like that!" Sakura's voice became noticeable fake at the end of her sentence, a higher pitch indicating a lie. The white-haired Jounin deadpanned at them in disinterest and extreme disdain. Jounin exchanged stares for a short notice. The Jounin was less than impressed with this trick, the black mask shield half of his appearance from the world, however, the forehead protector that was beginning to slip over his left eye only covered more. Get real. Is he really a Jounin? Sasuke wondered skeptically. The scene continued to replay in his head, only causing disappointment to flow through his veins. With a single roll of his eyes, the Jounin turned his gaze to the practically dying Naruto. "Hmm, well, how do I put this? As for my first impressions of you guys?" The Jounin's deadpan seemed even more dead than it originally was, which seemed nearly impossible, "well, I hate you." "Hmm, well, how do I put this? As for my first impressions of you guys?" The Jounin's deadpan seemed even more dead than it originally was, which seemed nearly impossible, "well, I hate you." he stated sharply until his eyes gradually begin to grow in size when realization drowned him. He was missing a student. An oh so very important student of his. "Where's the ghoul?"
