The was a knock on the door , but she continued to ignore it as if she was deaf . The whole room was so quiet , as if the was actually no one . It's been two days now she hasn't come out of her room, she has not eaten nor drink anything , she been ignoring Samantha over and over again. What she couldn't stand was all he had said to her, not what she had seen. Was she that worthless? She asked herself. Samantha was at her door again, knocking. “Ani...Come on, you can't be doing this to yourself; please open the door," Samantha begged, but she kept quiet. “Ani, open the door; this is not funny anymore. I get it; I understand it hurts, but you can't punish yourself over a bastard who can't keep his pants zip closed. Open the door please , atleast eat something ” “I don't want to eat, Samantha. Leave me alone, please." She finally spoke something ever since she looked at herself in that room. “I am not leaving," Sam protested. "In fact, I'm calling Dad. I'm going to inform him about this so he can send some men here to break down this door." Those words caught her attention, but she didn't care. Knowing her sister very well, Samantha wouldn't do that. “Sam, do whatever you feel like doing, but please leave me alone. " She begged. Samantha was clueless and hopeless, not knowing what to do. She had to keep on trying just so that she could at least open the door. “Ani, listen, I just need you to open the door for me, please. Just talk to me; say whatever you want to say to me. I can't stand seeing you like this; just open up for me. I just want to see if you are fine. You know I can't call Dad on you, but don't leave me in a situation where I won't be able to control myself and call Dad. Please open up." She bangs the door. She suddenly crawled out of bed and strolled towards the door; she finally unlocked the door. Samantha sighed out of relief and walked in; she was looking very worried. Samantha strolled over, crawling up the bed and joining her. “Look at yourself; do you like what you are right now? Im not going to sit around and do nothing while you destroy your life over someone who is not worthy of you. ” She chuckled. "I'm a mess, I know, so what?” " I'm not going to say much right now; just get yourself in the shower, and I'll clean this place up. You need to stop drinking and at least eat something. Unless you want to fall sick, and this news will reach Mom and Pops in no time." “Fine, I heard you." She strolled to the bathroom. After two days of not eating, locking herself in her room, she finally had a meal. “I don't like what I'm seeing." “That's your problem." “Ani, look at yourself; you're a mess. Over what ...Austin ? he's not the only man on earth, goddammit." Sam said. “Deal with it, Sam." She wasn't even eating; she just kept pondering the bowl of porridge. Samantha couldn't say much; instead, she meant to leave her alone, but Ani wasn't over what she just said. “In fact, you know what, Sam ... She placed the bowl on the coffee table and turned towards Sam. "I think I should remind you of something you're forgetting...”Sam stared at her lazily, knowing exactly what was coming from her mouth. "I know exactly what you want to say..." she sighed. "Is that even necessary? Do you always have to remind me of my place in the family?"Anitta puzzled by her question; she wasn't talking about that; she would never, not even by accident, mention that to her. She closely studied her sister's face and walked towards her. She pulled her close in a tight hug. “You know I would never, not even by mistake, say that. It doesn't matter that you are not my biological sister; you are everything to me." She sniffed with her head still on Samantha's shoulder. "I'm sorry I had snapped like that. Don't you ever doubt my sister's love for you; this will change no matter what happens." Samantha nodded, saying nothing . Her gaze fell on her sister. She caressed her cheek. "I need you to get over Austin; he's the loser here. He's lost someone he'll never get in this life. " Anitta let go of Sam and went back to her bowl of porridge and started pondering it as if she were eating. “I wish I had done things differently." Samantha noticed and took away the bowl. She made her a cup of coffee, then sat down with her. She looked at her. "I want you to pour out your heart; cry if you have to, but please, after that, I don't want to hear about Austin again." Samantha said . Anitta sighed, trying to find a way to explain the situation. "You know ... I only slept with Austin once in this relationship ... I mean, it's not my entire fault, but ... It's my fault, and he has found someone who can give him what I could not give him," she quickly said. Sam chuckled softly. "You are lying..." “I'm serious; once, I've been turning him down halfway through s*x multiple times." “Why, was he not good, or was he small...?" “I'm hurt by everything he said to me, Sam, but I don't know what was wrong with me. I... just kept on having excuses. He was patient with me ...” “For your money," she reminded her. “Yes, for that, but who would have kept on with me for doing this whole thing?" “Why were you doing that? I mean, if he was good, besides him being an i***t for wanting your money, why did you...?" “Ever since that day I can't... ; I don't feel okay when someone touches me..." “You what?... What day?" She seems confused. Realizing she wasn't really sure if she was ready to talk about it, she brushed her off. "Since our first day together... Austin and I ... never mind , but now I can see I also contributed to the ending of this relationship, so I won't sob anymore." “Okay. That's it? no Austin whatsoever...? She said grinning. “I'll go lock myself again..." She threatened jokingly. “Okay, fine, I won't pass any judgments or say anything. Let's go out to Extreme Club." Ani, who was having a cup of coffee, stopped and gave her a steady look. “That place? "No!" she queried. “Absolutely yes." Samantha placed her hands on Ani's shoulders and gave her a gentle squeeze. “You need to cool off your mind and forget about the past." “That place will only remind me of the past; try something else." Anitta suggested “Why? You are so boring; we'll do a movie then. Is it fine?" She asked. "Yeah, that's even better." She nodded, not really paying attention.
