Face to face

The boss and the Mistress was discussing about Jane. The Mistress did not support the boss decision. ' Boss, the group members are complaining about your decision.'

' What should I do ? ' The boss asked.

' There has been a lot of mummurs since she joined this group. The group members feels she is specially treated. I think you should be open about anything concerning Jane .'

'Do you also think I'm being partial with her ? ' The boss asked.

' Boss, I have been working with you for a long time, I have never seen you been partial with your treatment. I know you have an hidden reason. ' She prevaricated.

' I only need straight answers from you. Have I been partial with her ?' The boss asked.

The Mistress went on her knee. ' Yes .'

The boss didn't want to turn down Frank's plea but he still cared about his group members.

' You can leave but you come back with Frank in an hour.' The Mistress stood and smiled to herself as she left. The boss has never went against her decision, she just have to be persistent to change the boss decision. She was always doing that. She went to Frank's room.

At exactly ten minutes to the hour the boss asked them to come, the Mistress went to Frank room to inform him and possibly leave together. The Mistress knocked the door to Frank room. Frank wasn't expecting anybody but he thought it was Jane. He went to the door to open it. ' What brings you to my room? ' Frank asked politely.

' Is there a reason why I can't come to your room ?' She replied him with questions, forcing herself into Frank's room. Frank closed the door and offered the Mistress a seat not minding her rude behavior.

' The boss wants to see you.' The Mistress spoke.

' okay ' Frank replied lackadaisically.

' You have only five minutes left to get to the boss.' The Mistress added. Frank nodded his head this time without uttering a word . He escorted the mistress out of her room and got changed in order to meet his father.

The boss, The Mistress and Frank was seated . The boss was separated from them by a curtain.

Frank did not know the mistress was also invited for the talk but he did not ask his father. He stayed there wondering why they gathered.

' I thought about it but my judgement was not partial.' The boss spoke.

' Boss, nobody here has ever been to a school. We have always been here dedicating our best to this group so I don't see the need of sending Jane to school.' The Mistress replied.

It was clear to Frank the reason he was called here. He have to defend his plea. ' The group is not sponsoring Jane to get back to school , she is to sponsor herself. This is not only because of her, it is all part of the plan for the mission ' Frank explained.

' We have trained group members that can spy on him, we should not trust a new member on a mission like this.' The Mistress argued.

' Mr Martins would easily notice if we make use of trained members to spy on him and Jane is not the only one on this mission , I will be of help to her.' Frank argued with the mistress.

' What if Jane was not here, are you telling me nobody in this group would be qualified for Mr Martins mission.' The Mistress asked Frank.

' We would have found but we should also trained Jane after all she is also a member here.' Frank answered.

The Mistress realized Frank would have his way in this matter if she continues the argument.

' Frank loves Jane, he would not be able to control Jane in this mission. If we should let Jane and Frank take care of the mission, it might failed.' The Mistress paused.

' what are you talking about ?' Frank asked.

' We need a loyal group member that will watch them and report back to the group.' She concluded.

' Who do you suggest ?' The boss asked.

' Clara' She replied .

' Is that not your daughter?' Frank asked.

' It does not matter if she is my daughter, she is loyal to the group and that is all that matters.' The Mistress replied.

' Okay, Inform other group members about our decision.' The Boss concluded.

Frank stared at the mistress.

' What a ruthless woman .' Frank said to himself . The Mistress smiled to Frank and also said to herself. ' I can't let you get what you want. ' They stared at each other without uttering a word and finally went to their room.
