LOVE AND MASK

The Plea

Jane woke up and could not find Frank in the room. She wrote a short letter at the back of his diary.

" I could not find you in the room when I woke up, I hope it was not because you were inconvenienced because of my stay in your room.

I could not wait for you to come because of the vixen looking Mistress.

Thanks for letting me spend the night with you.

Jane."

She left the room to the bathroom to get cleaned up and joined the others on the training field.

Jane joined them on the training field since days she had been there, almost all the group members saw her as a proud brat but was surprised to see such a proud brat joined them on the training field.

' Have you finally agree to follow this group rules? ' The Mistress asked her.

' Yes ' she replied. She is doing this to get to meet the boss, she could not just stay idle and wait to leave the group.

' Attention! ' the Mistress spoke at the top of her voice and all group members gathered. ' This group is officially announcing a new member. You must have been seeing her around but as of today, she has agreed to join our group. ' Instead of cheers, the group members just stared at her and murmured.

' I will let you all know more information about her later in the day. Let's all move to the dining hall. ' She led them all to the dining hall. The boss is already seated in the dining hall but separated from other group members by a curtain.

The group members went to their seat and kept standing till the boss voice echoed ' sit down. ' The Mistress nod her head in affirmation and the other group members sat down. ' The new member in our group would no longer be seen among us. ' He paused to hear their mummurs. The group members kept mute and just stared at each other in surprised. The Mistress was even surprised, no decision has been made without her being aware.

' Since there is no complain, the Mistress would tell you more about that. You can all eat your food.' They all ate their food but the Mistress could not eat her food as she kept staring at Jane. Jane also did not understand what the boss was talking about, she carefully avoided the Mistress glance as she looked around for Frank ( the boss son) .The group members left the dining hall one after the other as they finished their food but Jane and the Mistress did not leave the hall.

' I know you are concerned about my decision, are you not?' The boss asked the Mistress.

' Boss, I dare not go against your decision but why did your make such decision?' She asked courteously.

' My son pleaded on her behalf. '

The Mistress was surprised and Jane was also suprised but she did not utter a statement.

' Why did you think he did that ?' The Mistress asked.

' He like her, I don't think I should turn down his plea on this matter.' The boss replied.

Silence emerged in the room for a moment.

' I understood he plead on my behalf but where would you send me to ?' Jane broke the silence.

The Mistress did not wait for the boss response as she was annoyed with Jane ' You never want to stay here, are you not happy you are leaving this place ?'

' You are on a mission but we have to test your loyalty. Mr Martins is giving out scholarship, if you can get the scholarship you will leave this place and we will be watching you.' The boss replied.

Jane left the dining hall to look for Frank , he could not see Frank in the hall but she knew what he has done for her but she still have some questions to ask him so she kept looking till she found him in his room.
