A sudden, bright laugh bubbled up from my chest, the heavy weight in the room completely lifting at her fiery attitude. "Wait, did you seriously just say f**k him?" I questioned, shaking my head in pure amusement as a wide smile took over my face. "Ella, you don't even know the guy at all!" "I don't need to know a single thing about him," she countered instantly, populating the small bedside table as she popped open the plastic lid of the warm food container. A delicious aroma of fresh breakfast scrambled eggs and warm buttered toast drifted into the air. She handed me a plastic fork, her expression fiercely loyal. "I already know everything I need to know, and that is you. You are amazing, so he is automatically the bad guy." My smile softened, a gentle warmth spreading through me, but a tiny hint of old guilt made me look down at the sheets. "But... what if I was actually the bad person in the relationship?" I asked quietly, looking up at her through my eyelashes. "What if I was the exact reason for the whole messy breakup?" Ella didn't even hesitate for a split second. She aggressively scooped up a large spoonful of the fluffy, warm scrambled eggs and pointed the utensil directly at me like a weapon. "Even if you were completely at fault for every single argument, then f**k him all over again," she declared with total confidence before popping the food into her mouth. "A real man would have fixed it." I let out another soft chuckle, but then I braced myself, knowing the next piece of information was going to completely blow her mind. I leaned forward a fraction, dropping my voice to a secretive whisper. "Well... actually, that person happens to be Michael's younger brother." The effect was instant. Ella completely froze right in the middle of chewing, her jaw dropping open as she stared at me with wide, unblinking eyes. She swallowed hard, her entire face lighting up with a mixture of absolute shock and pure awe. "Wow," she breathed out, a wild, excited grin stretching across her face as she shook her head. "Okay, I absolutely love that kind of scandalous vibe! One brother totally breaks your heart, so you just decide to move right on and get with his actual brother. That is elite level revenge, Fedora." "No, no, it's not like that at all!" I protested quickly, my face burning hot as I waved my bandaged hands frantically in front of me to stop her wild imagination. "I hadn't even met Michael or known he existed until the exact moment I ended up trapped here in this pack. I had absolutely no idea they were related until I saw his face with my own two eyes." Ella’s expression shifted, a highly mischievous, wicked little smirk dancing on her lips as she leaned in closer to my mattress. She nudged my shoulder playfully, her eyes gleaming with a very dirty curiosity. "Okay, okay, fine, it was an accident. But tell me the real truth then... which of the two brothers has the bigger d**k?" My eyes widened in total shock at her bluntness. I forcefully pushed her shoulder back away from my bed, my cheeks flushing a deep scarlet color. "Ella! Don't do that!" I scolded, though I couldn't stop the embarrassed laughter from escaping my throat. "Seriously, stop it. I have absolutely no intention of ever finding out the answer to that question. One horrible heartbreak in this family is more than enough for me to handle for the rest of my life." Ella gave me a sharp, knowing side-eye, her eyebrows wiggling suggestively as she let out a low, skeptical hum. "Hmm... Luna, are you truly sure about that?" she teased, crossing her arms as she looked at me like she could see right through my defenses. "You really don't have to pretend to be a saint around me, you know. If I were in your exact shoes right now, with a gorgeous Lycan King running around saving my life, I would definitely want to have a little taste of him too." I burst out laughing, completely unable to hold back my amusement at her wild personality. "Ella, you never cease to amaze me with the crazy things that come out of your mouth," I giggled, wiping a stray tear of laughter from my eye. "How on earth would I even taste him anyway? Is the Alpha a plate of food to you?" "Of course he is a whole meal!" she shot back instantly, nodding her head with total seriousness as if she were explaining a factual science lesson. "Like, I have heard from older girls that some d***s are definitely way sweeter than others, and absolutely no two men are built the same way. And honestly, men who constantly behave like total d***s in real life usually have really small d***s to match their personality. So, I am highly guessing your ex-boyfriend had a very small one, simply because he was a total d**k to you." I paused, biting my lower lip as her words actually made me think back to the private moments in my past relationship. A small sigh escaped my lips. "Well... umm," I stammered, looking down at my bandaged fingers as I decided to just be completely honest with her. "I won't lie to you, Ella. It really wasn't big at all. And if I am being completely real, I didn't even enjoy most of the s*x we had back then. It was always just standard missionary style every single time, and he never once gave me an orgasm or even cared to check if I was fully satisfied. So... I won't necessarily say it's just a size problem, he was just selfish." Just then, right as the explicit words left my mouth, a loud, sharp knocking sound suddenly boomed against the heavy wooden door, completely cutting off our conversation.
