Finally, after what had felt like a whole eternity, I made it home. I was only out for a few hours, but with all that had happened it really just felt like days. I was more than glad to be here, though, because I was too damn exhausted. I saw my mom's car parked on the garage. She wasn't supposed to be here -she was supposed to be working, as usual- but I had called her earlier to tell her that I had found out about everything. She was shocked, of course. I had stopped asking about my real dad a long time ago, so I guess she didn't expect me to find out about it, and neither did I. Honestly, it would've been so much better that way.
