Alexa walked into Mr. Potter's office, sure that he had heard her quarrel with the other employees and was going to give her an earful.
'I can explain, sir!' she started.
Thinking that Alexa was referring to the reason she came late to work, he said, 'I'm sure you can but there really is no need for that. I want you to go speak with the client in the next office!' he said smiling at Alexa and she was shocked. She had not expected him to be so amicable.
