I didn't want to fight her.
When I smelled blood on her the day before, I immediately figured out that it was her period. She was in pain and I didn't think fighting her was the best choice of action at this point.
But I knew how stubborn she was and also what was at risk if I just talked to ‘Lucien’ in front of everyone and we didn't get into a fight since we hated each other completely.
