- PROBABLY WASN’T SHOT

Journalist Kurt Hammer, also at the moment an investigator in the case, has a theory of how famous shipping magnate John Fredly was killed in Lima, the city where he stayed for the last few years of his life. Or at least how he wasn’t killed:
“He was probably not shot,” was Hammer's preliminary conclusion.
Hammer believes that the wound, which is just below the heart, is not consistent with a gunshot wound. Out of respect for the family, Aftenbladet cannot publish a picture. But we have shown it to forensic scientist, Torleiv Ole Rognum, who, among other things, worked on the July 22 case. He mostly agrees with Kurt Hammer.
“If this is a gunshot wound, I will be very surprised. This looks like a wound from some cutting weapon,”
