Lee p.o.v.

I turned the living room light off I think I let her stuffer out there long enough. I ain’t going to bed though.

Lee goes over to the fireplace and lights a fire then starts up a movie. I’m going to make her forgive me if it’s the last thing I do.

I’m going to keep my promise and not touch her but we do need to talk. I need to explain myself better to her. See if she can just give me time to do what I need to do for us to be together.

Plus we jumped into this thing head first we need to slow down. I’m taking a page from my man Jordan’s book. I’m going to get to know this new version of Sophia.

Well not go as slow as Jordan did damn I don’t know how Lizzy waited out that long. After talking to him he told me it took him 2 years to actually ask her out on a proper date. Then another 2 years of dating after that before he asked her to move in. Followed by another year to propose to her.

That man sure as hell knows how to keep a girl on her toes but hey what can I say I’ve never even attempted a relationship before now. So I got no room to talk about his methods.

I start up the tv and turn it to Netflix to find the one movie I remember Sophia loved. That girl can’t resist watching the Lake House. It’s one of her all time favorite movies . I grab the bag of popcorn out of the microwave and place it in a bowl on the table beside the couch.

Then I give it a few minutes knowing she will be heading inside soon.

Sophia p.o.v.

I smell the popcorn before I see it on the table. Lee tricked me he ain’t asleep, he’s got this romantic movie night all setup. The fireplace is lit and the tv is on. God I hope he didn’t do this for some other girl. Then as I get farther into the living room I see that it’s my favorite movie on the screen paused right at the title.

I however don’t see Lee anywhere, where in the hell could he be. Just then he comes from the hallway with nothing on but some comfy looking swishy pants.

I don’t know how in the f**k I thought I could stay down here in this house with him looking like that. All I want to do is run up to him and wrap my arms around his neck and tell him how sorry I am.

He was just trying to protect me from whatever in the hell he does and I acted like a spoiled brat.

I stop staring at him once I notice him staring back and I drop my shoes on the shoe rack. I slowly walk up to him and ask if he’d mind unzipping my dress. I didn’t mean anything s****l about it Lizzy had to literally help me squeeze into I earlier.

Before he makes a move to help me he can’t help but get in a few jabs.” So your date didn’t last very long huh ? “

“ Oh, he has work in the morning so I didn’t want to keep him.” I say trying to sound matter of fact about it.

“ Must not be much of a man I didn’t hear him walk you up to the door, nor did he pick you up for that matter .” He says with a sly grin

“ Well for your information I drove myself it is the 21st century a girl can do that you know. Plus I told him I did want to be to tempted on our first date.”

That got him to stop smiling for a moment at least. Then he steps closer to me and brushes my hair around my neck so he can undo the hook on my dress.

He takes his sweet time lowing my zipper down. This man is toying with me and I can’t handle it. I get this lump in my throat and my voice goes all hoarse.

“ ummm okay I think I can get it from here, thank you Lee.” I reach around and touch his hand . f**k the sparks flying off the two of us could set this place a blaze.

If I don’t step away now I don’t know what I’ll do. Lee backs away from me and heads over to the couch.

“ Good night Sophia I hope you don’t mind if I finish my movie first . I’ll keep the volume down as to not disturb you and your beauty sleep not that you need it.”

I can’t think of anything else to say so I just say good night and head to my room.

Jordan p.o.v.

I’m pacing back in forth from the kitchen to the living room. I lied to Sophia I wasn’t in bed yet. I was just trying to help my man Lee out.

Now I don’t know if that was a good idea or not. I remember the dress Lizzy let her borrow for tonight . It’s the same one she wore the first time we hooked-up.

That dress had so many good memories for me now they are all ruined. Once Lizzy told me the dress she lent her I almost called the whole helping Lee thing off.

I couldn’t resist Lizzy in that thing I’m sure the same will be said for Lee with Sophia. God that’s an image I don’t want in my head.

My little sister and the guy I think of like a brother.

It’s bad enough I saw what I saw this morning. I however know that Lee will keep his promise he’s a man of his word. Sophia on the other hand will try every trick in the book to seduce him. Luckily for me she don’t have much experience in that.

I’m betting on my bro to hold strong and not give in. Yet given recent activities f**k he might buckle.

It’s hitting 12 am and I’m tired as hell, and I got work in the morning. Lizzy comes out of the bedroom all sleepy it’s adorable.

“ Jordan I woke up to you gone what is it?”

“ Nothing, babe I’m coming to back to bed I’m sorry I didn’t mean to wake you.”

“ Don’t worry about those two they will figure it out on their own. We’ve done as much as we can for them. Now come on and help put me back to sleep .

I got a busy day tomorrow I need to go find a new dress to knock your socks off . I can’t let my man down now can I ?” With that Lizzy comes up to me and grabs my hand and leads me to our bedroom.

Looks like I will be skipping the gym tomorrow, Lizzy favorite way to get put back bed is more s*x. Damn I couldn’t love this woman more if I tried.

Sophia p.o.v.

I finish getting the dress off and debate joining Lee in the living room. I mean he obviously wants me too, he’s about to watch my favorite movie. No way is that a coincidence.

I try to find something comfy to put on but that will still give him reason to steal glimpses. I opt for a pair of pj shorts and a matching tank top. They are light pink with cute little pigs on the shorts and just a plain top. I grab my fuzzy pink slippers too and head out to see if he’s stared the movie yet.

Just as I thought the movie was still paused in the same spot. I walk up to the couch and casually ask “ Do you mind if I join you this is my favorite movie?”

Instead of waiting for a response I grab his covers from off the couch and nestle down beside him and cover myself up. I keep my distance though and curl up against the arm.

Lee just smiles at me and says nothing, he presses the play button on the movie. We sit in silence and watch about half of it before he gets up.

Lee p.o.v.

How does she do it , look sexy and yet adorable at the same time. I’ve never had this problem before. What is it about Sophia that’s effecting me like this .

All I want to do is scoop her up in my arms and hold her while we watch this chick flick. I want her head resting my my chest and I want my arms wrapped around her .

I promised Jordan I would hook up with her again but I never said anything about holding her. The problem is can I do just that, if I have this woman in my arms ? Can I hold her and go any farther?

I guess that’s a test I will have to take and try to pass. Not just for Jordan’s sake but my own. If I want this to be an actual relationship one day I can’t always make it about s*x.

I pause the movie and get up from the couch. I head into the kitchen grab a drink and take a deep breathe. I can do this I say to myself over and over.

I take my drink and sit it down on Sophia’s side of the couch. I then grab the blanket off of her. She looks at me all confused.

She lets me grab her hand and lift her off the couch. I sit down and stretch out, I grab ahold of her by her waist and place her in between my legs. She leans back with her head on my chest just like I wanted.

I cover us back up and then continue the movie.
