I let Lee pull me into his lap and lay between his legs with my head on his chest. He covered us back up with the blanket and we just laid there like that and finished the movie.

This will now be my favorite way to watch a movie. I lift my head a little to look at him and confess

“ I didn’t really go on a date just so you know. I know it’s stupid to play games but I’m glad you stayed up. Sorry “I say with a little chuckle

Now it was Lees turn to laugh “ well if we are confessing things I knew you weren’t on a date . Jordan texted me the second you got back to the house.

I kind of had this all planned, I remembered this was your favorite movie.” I wanted to smack him and say I knew it but I didn’t . Why ruin the moment this was the best night I’ve had in a long time.

Just the two of us doing nothing but being together. I know we got work we still need to do but this is a good start.

Lee p.o.v.

We just lay there on the couch watching the fire. I don’t want to move Sophia she fell asleep on me about 20 minutes ago.

I got to though I’d love nothing more than to close my eyes and fall asleep with my girl. I carefully slide my leg out from under her and lift it over her head.

Good thing she is a heavy sleeper, this is gonna kill my arm but I pick her up and carry her to the other bedroom. I don’t know if I can sleep in the same bed with her without doing more.

Maybe one day when the newness wears off or I get back to work and need my energy in the morning. Right now though I’ve got nothing on my plate but Sophia.

As I head back to my room I’ve made my decision. I’m not going to lose this woman, the thought of her with another man even if it was only a few hours . That was all it took to make my mind up.

I’m talking to my supervisor tomorrow, the Keller Group is still based out of Ewing. After that I got to go see pop and mom . It don’t matter if I got Jordan’s approval if I don’t got theirs.

Setting my alarm for 7 am , f**k that only gives me 5 hours. Better than nothing I guess, it was worth it to be with my girl . Hopefully that was enough to hold her over until I get things handled on my end.

Lizzy p.o.v.

Yeah I’m skipping my run this morning I’m so tired and feel sick. All the stress from wedding planning, keeping a secret from Jordan no matter how short of the time. I don’t need this our party is this weekend.

We had it a scheduled for next weekend but with Sophia and Lee both here why wait. That being said I hope that they work things out.

Since momma Hill is doing the food and we are doing the wedding here we can actually move that up too. That’s something I need to discuss with her and Jordan. I’m sure no one will mind.

Those two as much as I love them are very unpredictable. Mental check list :

1) talk to Jordan about changing wedding date

2)call momma hill

3)call pastor

4) inform guest

I hop in the shower then get dressed a nice lose flowing sundress . Actually I think I’ll go down to the guesthouse and get Sophia to go over with me to talk to momma Hill.

Sophia p.o.v.

I hate waking up alone, I’d rather still be on the couch with Lee but I get why we can’t. I get up and walk to his room. Hoping to climb into bed with him and cuddle a little before starting my day. As I open the door I see he is gone, his bed is made.

I sadly walk out to the kitchen area to check for him elsewhere in the house. I found a note on the fridge.

Sweetheart,

Sorry I’m gonna miss breakfast with your beautiful self. I have errands to run today but I should be back in time to take you to lunch. Enjoy your morning, I’ll see you later

That’s so sweet of him to leave me a note, now what do I do with myself this morning. I guess I’m gonna hop in the shower and then run some errands of my own.

If we are going to give this a real shot then I need to get myself together too.

1) job

2) apartment/house

3) pick up my stuff from ga

4) reconnect with family

5) transfer my truck

6) transfer license

After getting showered and dress in a pair of shorts and a nice tank top . I figure we’d get in less trouble if he don’t have easy access . This is going to be hard keeping our hands to ourselves.

I’m about to grab my purse and keys when Lizzy comes through the front door.

“ Hey if you ain’t busy can you go with me to talk to your mom ? “Lizzy looked a little worried .

“ I was going to actually run a few errands you know job hunt and apartment hunt cant stay here forever.

But if you need me I can come along is everything okay ?” I take Lee’s note down and put it in my purse and leave a note for Lee where his was :

Sorry I haven’t come up with a cute nickname for you . Give me time I’ll think of one promise . I’m heading out with Lizzy but I’ll be back for a lunch date with you I can’t wait .

I’m afraid to tell Jordan I think I’m pregnant. I thought about it after my shower. Increased s*x drive, sensitivities to smells. The main reason is my stomach is so sick for no reason. Plus I’m so tired lately, after Jordan got back from seeing Lee in Tennessee thing’s changed.

About a month ago Jordan proposed on a spur of the moment getaway. It was very sweet and romantic. We were so high on happiness that we were careless.

I’d love to be a mom it’s just what would that change for us. It won’t get in the way of work my job isn’t hard and I’m my own boss. Financially we would be fine too. I don’t know how Jordan would feel. We haven’t really had the kid talk yet.

I need to get a test before I talk to him so I know what I’m getting into . On the way to momma Hills I’ll have Sophia stop at the drug store.

Watching Sophia and momma Hill interact with each other is something I miss doing with my mom. It’s been a good 10 years now and I still miss her everyday.

It’s really hard right now though, she should be doing all of this wedding stuff with me . I should be confiding in her on this and other potentially life changing news and I can’t.

Oh you guys just missed Sean and Jordan they called and said the new development is now back on schedule and we can start to advertise the properties.

That being said Sophia we are looking for someone to take pictures for our website of the whole process. Start to finish that means the staging Lizzy does and the open houses me and your father do. “

Trying to get momma Hill off of Sophia “ we wanted to move the party up to this weekend . With Sophia and Lee both home we thought why not.” Hoping that gets her off of Sophia for a bit. Jordan hasn’t even had the chance to discuss with Sophia his offer.

Oh well I guess, if she ask I’ll just have to jump in and tell her his idea. I’m sure she isn’t ready for all of this but who knows right. Seems like we are all putting on our big girl panties lately.

Sophia looks at me like I just set her up by asking her to come with me. While momma Hill starts to cook I take the opportunity to plead my case.
