THE dim, ambient lighting of Club Elegance cast a luxurious glow over the bustling crowd. The air was thick with the hum of laughter and conversation, punctuated by the clinking of glasses. Oswald entered the club with his usual air of confidence, his entourage behind and in front of him, his associates already gathered at a reserved table near the back.
