The following week, Kaci gave us the ok for Tristan to come to the visits. My son was so overjoyed he almost cried. He hadn’t seen them since before the state took them from their mother.
We decided to make our visit a dinner date. We stopped at McDonald’s and got each of the kids a happy meal. Jonah and I each got a meal as well. We also stopped at a*****e to pick up some ice cream for dessert.
We arrived at the same time as Kaci did with the kids. When they saw Tristan they both started jumping up and down and shouting in delight.
