The following week, Kaci arranged for us to use one the state’s houses for the visit so we could give the kids all their school stuff. On the way, Jonah stopped at Subway and we grabbed subs for everyone. When we arrived, Kaci set us up inside before using one of the offices to get some of her work done.
The kids were all talking excitedly to each other while Jonah and I set up the subs and drinks for everyone. “Mommy,” Illy said to me, “can we look at our new stuff?”
