The next two weeks passed by in a blur. Tristan came home, but still wouldn’t sleep in his room. He and Jaxson had gotten so close. They were best friends, brothers. This was hurting him just as much as it hurt us. Jonah had been in touch with his mother. She couldn’t offer much help. His father had passed before he and I had gotten together.
