After a while, I opened my eyes to the school clinic.
"welcome back"
I turned and there he was staring closely at me.
"The last thing I remember was walking outside, feeling a mixture of rage, pity, and disgust, then I looked up and saw that gargoyle coming down. And then you tackled me out of the way. Why? I asked.
But then he clicks his tongue… I saw you out there and I couldn't watch that thing hit you. Well, most people just say thank you.
"I don't want to be rescued, I could have rather saved myself. and he scoffs.

Yeah I'm good now I should leave, I said interrupting him from whatever he had to say, and walked out of the clinic.
Just like principal Harriet had arranged, today I'm supposed to meet a therapist. She drove me to Moonlight Pack to meet with the therapist.
Dr Aurora's office is on the third floor room number 8.
Other Oakcrest High School students swear by her. I will be waiting down here, Principal Harriet said to me as she packed by the building where I could meet with her.

"Yeah, come inside, go ahead, and take a seat, I've been expecting you Maya. Welcome!!

Oh sure. She said and showed me the way, I stood up and walked to the restroom. got there and walked straight to the window. I used a nail file to unlock it. I heaved a sigh of relief this is going to be fun i mumbled and jumped out. There, principal Harriet's car. I walked past right behind the car and went into a weathervane coffee shop close to Dr Aurora's building.
"I need a guard over ice.
"Well, that won't be available right now because my coffee machine has a problem. I'm trying to fix it. The coffee guy replied.
"Here is a deal. I will fix your coffee machine, then you will make my coffee and call me a taxi I suggested.
Okay… Let's see what u got.
I went ahead and fixed the coffee machine. It wasn't a lot of trouble.
"What is going on here? And what is an Oakcrest student doing here at this time?
Actually, I had trouble fixing my coffee machine but the Oakcrest student just did that for me.

Marvenck called out but I left without turning back I looked up and saw Principal Harriet and Dr. Aurora already in search of me, so I took the other end of the road and ran as fast as I could i had no idea where I was heading to but I kept following that part then i bashed into Lucas my classmate we both fell to the ground,
He was acting weird. He didn't say a word to me as he stood up and ran into the woods.
"Lucas come back!! I called out and started following him. Lucas!! Lucas, wait!!
What do you want? Why are you following me?
I don't have time to explain but we need to leave now!! Before Principal Harriet sees us.
Suddenly Lucas chuckled and with his strength, he pulled me up against a tree in the woods
"what are you doing?? I asked with my heart clenching. I got terrified,
Saving everyone from you, Lucas said as he grunted. I have to kill you.
I was shocked. The falling gargoyle that was you? I asked with a raised brow, still stuck in a tree.

"Why would you want to kill me?
He dipped his left hand in his pocket and brought out a picture and showed it to me.
The girl in the picture that was you.
What!! You want to kill me because of some pictures? I asked with a shurge. Looking all surprised.
My mother drew that picture 25 years ago when she was a student at Oakcrest High School. She was a great seer. She told me it was my destiny to stop this girl if she ever came to Oakcrest High School because she would destroy the school and everyone in it, Lucas said.
I saw that picture and I knew that was me before King Grey burned me to death. But what is he talking about?? How did he know I was the one? I taught with so much confusion. Lucas put me down, let's talk.

Suddenly the power that surged into Lucas became stronger and I grunted in pain struggling to breathe. Abruptly that same giant wolf that had killed a boy in the woods surfaced and made a loud snarl. It took Lucas up and dropped him hard on the ground which made me fall from the tree. It used its large paw and sharp nail to scrape Lucas's flesh off until I could see the content of his stomach Lucas couldn't breathe anymore. I stood face to face with this extremely giant wolf. I knew I was going to be the next victim so
I thought of ways to defeat this wolf.
It let out a scary growl which got me so scared.
