It's been two weeks now, and it felt like forever. This is certainly not where I want to be.
I was taught mostly everything in the house, my movement was restricted and the whole idea of going to Oakcrest High School in black moon is frustrating. They literally control my whole life now. And they will always remind me that they are my parents so I must follow their orders.
It was a beautiful morning, but the thought of going to school spoiled my mood.
The driver was set and my supposed parents went into my room to make sure I was ready. From the look of things, it's gonna be a long journey, from here to black moon pack. We all went into the car and Carter, Father's driver began to drive us.
Birds were chirping and my parents were certainly feeling the moment as we rode the long distance. Mum looked at me and sighed. I guess she was not pleased to see me in such a mood.
"Darling, how long do you intend on giving us this cold shoulder? She asked me with her gaze fixed on mine.
She sure does own that round face I could give a hot slap.
I had no intention of responding to her. Carter! Please remind my parents that I'm no longer speaking to them. I called out immediately. But Carter seemed not to have the gut he just exhaled and fixed his gaze on the road.
Father grunted out and said "I promise you, my little princess, you will love Oakcrest High School. Now you will be far away from your friends who tried to hurt you.
What is he talking about. I taught to myself.
"Of course, it's the perfect school for her" Mum chipped in which made me more pissed.
"why? Because it was a perfect school for you? I have no interest in following your footsteps, Mother.
"I merely meant that finally you will be among peers who understands you and you could probably wolf out," she replied to me.
Oakcrest High School can not be compared to any other boarding school, it's a magical place, and that's where I found my mate. Father said and turned to his mate, she let out a yearning sigh. They were both in love with each other.
You guys are making me nauseous and of course not in a good way I spart out.
Our car finally drove in. At the entrance of the school was boldly written "Welcome to Oakcrest high school"
I sighted through the car window. tolling of bells was heard and thunder rumbling, drops of rain began to fall and we all took out our umbrellas and got out of the car we walked straight to the principal's office, Mother led the way.
The principal welcomed us warmly and she spoke to Mum like they knew each other for a long time. Suddenly she turned to me. She had long white hair and blue eyes. She looked pretty and spoke nicely to me too. but that would not make me stay in this prison they call a school.
What's your name dear" the principal asked me
"Maya
I said almost immediately.
"Pardon her principal Harriet, her name is Scarlett. She had been on edge for the past two weeks. We thought we had lost her and now she barely remembers the past. Father said sobbing.
And principal Harriet just shook her head.
Well, So they taught but I can certainly remember every damn thing, down to what King Gray did to me. I mumbled to myself
"I would only answer the name Maya I said to them in a most serious tone. And for the first time, they agreed to my request.
"Fine, she could bear any name she wishes I'm sure in no time she will remember everything including her name our pack doctor already assured us Mother said
Maya is certainly a unique name, Principal Harriet said. Did your mother tell you we were roommates back in the day?
And you graduated with your sanity intact?...
Impressive" I blurted out giving no attention to the look on her face
But she ignored me and went ahead.
Well, You certainly had a very interesting educational journey, eight schools in five years… Principal Harriet gazed through Scarlett's file and said.
They haven't built one strong enough to hold me. I bet this place won't be any different. I spat out.
Of course, it's Scarlett who had that record but I'm sure I would not stay here for long.
I believe what our daughter is trying to say is that she greatly appreciates the opportunity father chipped in.
"Oakcrest High School doesn't accept students mid-term but given Maya's perfect grades and the family's long history with the school I have made an exception Harriet said and my parent both looked at each other with so much joy and big smiles on their faces but I was simply not comfortable, I wish she never accepted me
Harriet what about Maya's erm…. Therapy session?? Mum inquired
The school has a relationship with a therapist in Moonlight Pack she can meet her twice a week Harriet said
Alright, then I guess she's in good hands.
We'll see if she survives the first session I said
And they all glared at me
I've assigned you to your dom, Falcon hall principal Harriet managed to let out. I'm certain she was trying so hard to overlook my impertinent and harsh words.
And mother chuckled and nodded her head in agreement.
Shall we go meet with your new roommate? Principal Harriet interrupted…..
But then I had to clear my head, and certainly they won't let me. so I waited for them to get a bit distracted and I went out of their sight, I found myself in the woods.
It looked scary. I could only hear the chirping of birds.
Just when I was about to leave I saw a young boy who seemed to be enjoying the natural breeze, bird caws, and the sound of leaves rustling. He had a back bag on. I decided to walk towards him and have a word with him but next, I heard a loud noise from the woods. I turned around but couldn't find where the noise was coming from. Suddenly a huge wolf came out from nowhere. For a second I stopped breathing. Could it be a rogue? At first, I thought he had seen me but it passed me and headed straight to the young boy who was already terrified, his eyes were filled with fright and he began to scream unfortunately, no one heard him from the woods and then the angry wolf grabbed him and dug out his throat killing him instantly and separating his body from his
hands and legs. After which it turned immediately to my direction.
