Chapter 19

Hailey's POV 4 days later

Today is Hayes and Skylynn's funeral. I put on my black dress that went down about mid thigh and my black flats. I curled my hair loosely then put on some lip gloss. I sighed then grabbed my phone. R5 moved all of our things to the 5SOS house so I have all of Hayes' things and all of Sky's things. I grabbed one of Hayes' snapbacks, his favorite, and then grabbed Sky's favorite horse. I walked downstairs after grabbing my clutch. It had my money, extra makeup and other things. I saw the boys in the kitchen. All dressed up for the funeral. "Are you ready?" Luke asked gently. "As ready as I'll ever be." I whispered before he grabbed my hand and we all walked out the door. 

We got into the hummer and started driving. I sat in the back with Like and Ashton. I'm closest to them. Ashton and I have been through the same things. Suicidal thoughts and suicidal actions. He's helped me through a lot. Luke, is like a brother yet he's also like my boyfriend. Always there for me, making sure I'm okay. He's been sending me good morning and goodnight text. Its really sweet. We arrived at the funeral home and got out. We had to arrive early because they wanted to pray. I went inside with the boys behind me. I saw Will, my parents and Nash. Nash looks like he hasn't slept in days, Will has the biggest smirk on his face and our parents are dead to the world. They let me into the room with that caskets. They were both open. I lifted Hayes' hands and placed his snapback under them. I went over to Skylynn and put her horse under her hands. I smiled sadly then went out to the Grier's. 

Then the fighting started. "This is all Hailey's fault!" Will yelled to his parents. "My fault?!" I asked, angrily. "If you weren't born, then none of this would she happened." Elizabeth shouted. "If you didn't want me then why did you keep me? You're such a terrible mother. You ran over your 6 year old, abused your twins and you daughter that YOU killed. Does Johnnie know about this? Ya know, Skylynn's father? Does he know that Skylynn is dead? He as more of a fad to me than Chad was. Rydel Lynch was mors over a mother than you will ever be. The Lynch boys were more like brothers to me then you ever were!" I said yelling at all of them. "I'm out of here." "Walking out on your own siblings funeral." Nash scoffed. "I thought you didn't want me part of the family anyways." I took the hummer keys and went to the house. 

I quickly packed all my bags and put them in the hummer. All my clothes, makeup, and other necessities were in the hummer. All my money, credit cards and debit cards were there too. I got into the hummer and drove tot he airport. I gave the lady my passport then bought a ticket to Iceland. That's a nice place, don't cha think? Anyways, I put my bags on the plane then got ready to take off. I left my hummer keys at the front desk and told them to mail them back to 5SOS when the plane left. I need this. My life will be better away from everyone that hates me. My flight soon took after. "Goodbye guys." I whispered as we started soaring through the air. 

Ashton's POV when Hailey walked out

"You people should be in jail!" Michael shouted. "We've been doing this for years. Why do you think there is a gap between Will and Nash?" "You've had more kids?" "We actually had twins when Will was born." Will gasped. "That's right. You were a twin. Her name was Jessica." Chad stated with a sickening smirk. "We left her on the side of the road at 4 months. Hopefully she's dead." Elizabeth laughed. "You people are sick." Will looked like he was gonna cry. "I had a little sister." He said as he looked up at them. We heard police cars start to pull up. "Put your hands in the air." Everyone put their hands up. "Where are the Griers?" We pointed to then and they cuffed them. "You have the rights to remain silent. Anything you say, can and will be held against you in a court of law." We watched as all the Griers were arrested. Like went outside then ran back in. "The Hummer's gone!" We looked it and saw the parking spot where the hummer was, empty. 

The rest of the day was spent trying to call Hailey. "I just let her slip out of my grip." Luke cried. After the funeral, we went to the graveside service. We helped carry them to the burial site. "Thank you for coming. We are so sorry that none of their family is here. Elizabeth, Chad, Will and Nash were arrested then Hailey disappeared. Please stay as long as you want, we are pressing you to leave." The boys and I went home. The hummer still wasn't there. I tore the house apart, then we heard Like crying. I ran to him. "She left!" He cried as he started destroying the living room. Throwing things, breaking things, screaming at the top of his lungs until he fell asleep because he was so exhausted. 

I tried calling Hailey and she finally answered. 

A- Hailey where are you?!

H- I'm somewhere better. I can't live like that anymore. 

A- The Grier's got arrested. Please come back. 

H- Ash, I can't. I'm sorry, tell Luke I love him but I'm not coming back anytime soon. Bye Ash. Tell everyone that I love them.

Then she hung up. Hailey. Gone. Luke is gonna be a mess. We won't be getting much sleep because Like is gonna have those dreams where Hailey never left and its gonna be one big mess. Hailey, please come back.
