Chapter 12

Hailey's POV August 10, 2014

5SOS had to go back to Australia and couldn't take us with them, so they left us with R5. They became really good friends at the RDMAs. We have been living with R5 for little over 6 maybe 7 months. Life with R5  is great. Hayes and I are still pretty famous and we started a collab channel on YouTube. Rydellington is a thing and I happily ship it but they keep it on the down low, which I don't like. Ross is a single pringle and is starring as Austin Moon in a new Disney channel show called Austin and Ally. We haven't heard anything from or about Nash since we have been here, but Magcon broke up back in April. Sky is now 6 and she remembers everything that happened to her with Will, Nash and our parents. The poor little thing is traumatized. 

"Hailey, we gotta go!" Hayes yelled. "Give me a minute!" We are going to the Teen Choice awards.

I walked downstairs after put on mascara. I only wear eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss/lipstick. "I'm done, gosh, cool your tah tahs." Rocky laughed. Skylynn is staying with Mark and Stormie. They are basically parents to us. "Let's go." R5 got into their limo while Hayes and I got into ours. "This limo, all to ourselves." I gave Hayes a soda while I grabbed one. "To success." I said with a smile. "To us." Hayes said with a smile. "To Nash." We whispered before we started drinking our sodas. Once we finished our sodas, we arrived at the awards. "Ready sis?" "Ready." We got out of the limo and starred walking the orange carpet. We stopped for pictures and answered some question, also signing autographs. 

"How's Nash?" One of the news anchors asked. "We actually have no idea. We don't see him a lot." "Why not?" "He lives here in LA with Cameron, well, at least I think he still does." "Why don't you know?" "We are both 14, hence the twins part. We have online schooling, which sometimes comes with work. And we also make videos for our account on YouTube." We continued walking until we went and found our seats. 

Hayes and I talked and goofed off. Ever since we were taken away from Nash, we have been closer to each other. Heard the giggles that cure sadness. I turned and I was correct, its Ashton. "Ashy!" I squealed before hugging him. "Hails!" He said as he hugged me tighter. He was giggling, yes the cure. "Hey monkeys." Luke said before hugging me and Hayes. We laughed. We talked until R5 came up. "Let's go kiddos." We sat near the stage. I looked back and Cam and Nash. "Duck." I said as I grabbed Hayes' head and we ducked down in front of R5. "What are you-" "SHUSH." I hissed. We moved quickly and away from the Magcon boys. All of them were in a group. 

"We will be right with the 2014 Teen Choice Awards." Zendaya said. "Can you and Hayes sing your song?" I forgot to mention, Hayes and I released a song call I Hate You, I Love You. (Made famous by Gnash ft. Olivia O'Brien.) "Sure." We walked backstage and got our microphones. We practiced a little. "We are back with the 2024 Teen Choice Awards." Zendaya said with a smile. "Tonight we have a special performance." Selena Gomez said. "Give it up for The Grier Twins, Hailey and Hayes." Everyone started clapping. (I edited the words a bit so its more age appropriate, for both the twins and the kids.) 

[Hailey:]

After we sang, we looked at each other and smiled. "These two didn't know this but they just won three awards." I looked at Hayes and hugged him. "They won the award for top new artists. Hayes won Male Web star, and Hailey won Female Web star." The gave us our awards. "Thank you." "Do you have anything to say." I looked at Hayes. "We didn't exactly prepare a speech but I want to give a shout out to all of our fans out there. We couldn't be here without you." "I wanna give a shout out to our family. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them." We exited the stage and went back to our seats. 

*after the awards*

Hayes and I walked down the orange carpet with our awards. R5 won an award. So proud of my Rocky. Wait, I forgot to mention that Rocky and I are dating. We have been dating for about 4 almost 5 months. He's such a sweet guy. We are keeping our relationship on the down low, Nash would find us and kill us. "We'll take your awards back to the house." Ross and Rocky said. We handed them our awards and they left. Hayes and I took more pictures. "Hailey! Hayes!" We turned and saw Nash. He had tear stains with fresh tears streaming down his face. I looked at Hayes. He looked me dead in the eyes. We hurriedly got into our limo and left. We looked back at Nash. He was crying into Cameron's arms. 

"I feel ashamed to say, that I don't feel bad." I told Hayes. "Same, sis. Same." He wrapped his arms around me. "Its okay. It'll just be in the news tomorrow." I playfully elbowed him in the ribs. Once we got home, I went upstairs and put my hair in a messy bun. I went downstairs and saw the boys fighting over the remote. Literally wrestling over the remote. I plucked the remote out of Rocky and sat down. I turned it on and the news was up. 

Hailey and Hayes Grier ditched Nash at the awards. He said their names and looked like he had been crying. 

Then it went to Nash. "They have ever reason to be mad at me. I don't blame them. What happened stays between us." I watched as he walked away, crying into Cameron's shoulder. I didn't realize I was crying until Rocky wrapped his arms around me.

They don't know anything about what happened to me, Hayes and Skylynn. "The only way we can help you, is if you tell us." Riker said. "I'm not telling." "Hail-" "I said I'm not telling." I said before trying to get off the couch but Rocky caught me.  "Tell us now." "Put me down!" He sat down with me on his lap. "Spill." "No." The next 10 minuted consisted of Rocky and Riker trying to get me to stop trying to kick them, while Ross and Ell tried to get Hayes to talk while Delly went to pick up Sky. "Let go of me!" Hayes and I yelled at the same time. We stopped when we heard the front door open. We heard the click of a gun. I shoved the boys behind the couch and grabbed Hayes' hand. We shut the boys up and peaked over the couch. 

"Hailey Nicolette, Benjamin Hayes. Come on out." We snuck into he kitchen. This has happened before, so we know how to do this. We grabbed frying pans, air horns and rolling pins. The masked figures moved into the living room. They moved past us and we did one swift move and know led their feet out from under them. We pulled them onto the kitchen. 2 down, 7 to go. "What happened to Johnson and Gilinsky?" "I don't know." Oh my freaking god. Its Nash and the other MagCon boys. I tied up Johnson and Gilinsky after taking off their mask. We taped then across the island then crawled across the floor. I did the mockingjay whistle. "This way." The boys started marching up the stairs when Hayes and I hit them again. 

We took their tranquilizer guns and taped their hands and feet together after taking the masks off of Aaron and Taylor. I also taped their mouths shut. We leaned them up against the island. We snuck upstairs. The boys were checking the rooms. We headed into the room Cameron went into and shut the door. I hit him with a frying pan. He fell to the ground I taped his mouth shut then knocked him out. I taped him to the bed. Two more. "Cam? Cameron? Nash Cam's gone." "Which room was he in?" I kicked open the door. "This one." Was the last word I said before Hayes fell to the floor. Cameron untaped himself and picked up Hayes. He carried Hayes out the door and downstairs. "I'm sorry." I looked at Nash and was shot with the tranquilizer. I pulled out the sedative dart and dropped it. I fell to the floor. I blinked three times as Nash and Shawn came towards. "Goodnight Hails." I slowly closed my eyes. This is one messed up kid.
