Chapter 9

Cameron's POV

Elizabeth just hit Hailey with her car. The car was completely on top of her. It started to catch flames, so we hurriedly got the car off of her while a fan dragged her out from under the car. We set it down and I ran to her. "Hailey wake up!" They called another ambulance while the police came and took away Will, Chad and Elizabeth. To say Nash was crying was an understatement. He was sobbing, bawling, screaming. He felt terrible. We ran to the hospital. The three Grier kids were in surgery. "This is all my fault! I should have been a better brother! I should have protected them! I should have fought for them!" Nash cried/sobbed/bawled. I had him in my lap. He cried into my shoulder. "Its not your fault Nashy." "Yes it is! I verbally abused Hailey! Which led to physically abusing her! She left because of me! When I found out I was getting a little sister I was elated! She was going to be my princess. When she turned 4, Will told me a lie about her, so we started to shove her around, be mean to her, treat her like garbage! When I was younger, when the twins are born, I swore I would never hurt her! Now she's in surgery! Because of me!" 

I tried to calm him down, but he wasn't letting up. The nurse gave him a shot which knocked him out. I held him in my lap while he slept. He looked like a child. Tear stains, curled up in a ball on my lap. He was whimpering and shaking in his sleep. "Skylynn Floyd?" Nash shot awake and ran to the nurse. "Where is she? Is she okay?" We followed her to a room. Skylynn connected to monitors. "In the middle of surgery, she went into a coma. We are so sorry." The nurse walked out and Nash ran to Skylynn. 

Nash's POV

My little siblings are in the hospital and I'm part of the reason why. I ran to Sky's side. I grabbed her hand and cried. They brought in Hayes. He had a broken right leg, broken collar bone, broken left arm, and a collapsed lung. Skylynn's lung collapsed, her left leg is broken, and cracked skull. I have no word on Hailey. I held both of their hands while I cried. Cameron was right there beside me. The boys sat around the room. Blake, Hunter, Brandon, Jacob and Johnny were crying about Hailey. A nurse walked into the room and got Cameron. 

Cameron's POV

A nurse came in and took me into the hall. "Miss Hailey is out of surgery and she isn't doing well. Both legs are paralyzed, her collar bone is broken, her lung collapsed, her arm is broken, her skull is cracked terribly 50% of her body is burned, her heart is also failing and she has fallen into a coma. If she wakes up, she'd be very lucky. The doctor also found cancer in her heart. I am very sorry. The best you can do is pray. I wish I could help you. They have her in ICU." She said in a sincere voice. I thanked her then went back into the room. "Where's Hailey?" Nash sniffled. I sighed. "Cam?" He said with a voice crack. "Is she?" "No, she's alive but..." I looked up at him. Tears already streaming down his face. Gilinsky was holding Brandon and Johnny, Aaron had Hunter and Blake and Jacob was holding onto me. "She's in the ICU, in a coma." 

Nash's POV

"She's in the ICU, in a coma." My world crumbled. Hayes, Skylynn and Hailey are in a coma. Hailey's obviously worse. I started sobbing, bawling and everything in between. I pulled Hunter, Blake, Jacob, Brandon and Johnny into me while they also started crying. "I never got to tell her I loved her." Hunter sobbed. I pulled him into my arms. "Neither did I." I cried with him. My little Hailey, is clinging to her life.

We sang quietly. Hailey always sang that, even though she didn't realize it. We cried. "One person may be in the room with Hailey." I looked at Hunter. "Go. Your sister needs you." He whispered. I stood up and followed the nurse. I walked into the room and saw my little sister. So many machines, so many wires. She was still the most beautiful little girl I ever saw. I walked over and sat beside her bed. I grabbed her hand gently. "Hailey, I'm so sorry. I love you so much." I said as I started tearing up causing me to hiccup. "You deserved so much better." I cried. "A precious little girl like you, deserved so much more. You, Hayes, and Skylynn deserved so much better." I cried harder. "I should have stood up for you. I should have fought against Will for you. All three of you. I never knew he would hurt Skylynn. I never expected him to hurt you. I never expected myself to hurt you. I verbally abused you! Which led to physically abusing you! You left because of me! When I found out I was getting a little sister I was elated! You were going to be my princess. When you turned 4, Will told me a lie about you, so we started to shove you around, be mean to you, treat you like garbage! When I was younger, when you two born, I swore I would never hurt you! Now she's in the ICU! Because of me!" I sobbed. "You mean everything to me!" Straight line. "And I lost you." I whispered before the nurses and doctors ran in and started performing CPR and shocked her with an AED. They shoved me out of the room. 

I cried on the floor. "Baby let me love you goodbye." I whispered as they rushed her into emergency surgery after they got her heart to start beating again. I saw Cam run to me. He picked up my shaking, crying body and walked into Hayes and Skylynn's room. "No get me away from them or I'll kill them too." I cried. "What are you taking about?" "I spilled my heart out to Hailey and her heart monitor went dead." I cried. Hunter had tears streaming down his face. Hayes and Skylynn started shaking like a seizer shaking. Nurses rushed in and took them to ICU. I sobbed for 45 straight minutes after that. 

Cam held me close to him. R5 rushed in. "What happened to my child?" Rydel asked in a panicked voice. "She got hit by a car." Rydel looked at Ellington. She started crying while Rocky looked like he had already been crying. Ross was on the verge of tears while Riker tried to keep himself from crying. "I SHOULDN'T HAVE LET HER GO! THIS IS MY FAULT!" Rydel sobbed into Ellington's chest. He pet her hair as he held her close. Justin Bieber walked in holding a bouquet of tiger lilies, Hailey's favorite flower. "These are for Hailey." He pulled out a toy pony. "This is for Sky." Then he pulled out a sighed football. "This is for Hayes." It was autographed by his favorite player. "Thank you Justin." I sniffled. Justin and Hailey had become friends a while back when she was living with R5. They had become super close and used to do everything together. 

We sat around for a few more hours until the doctor came in. "Family of Hailey Grier?" We all stood up. "I'm sorry but we lost her." My world is crashing around me. People crying, my world is burning. Everyone dying, everyone leaving. "Nash wake up." I heard faintly. "NASH!" I heard but I couldn't respond. "nash." The voice whispered before I blacked out
