I want to have a word with my father at least to figure out if I was trying to do the right thing, I opened his room door slightly and luckily Lucian wasn't there so I walked slowly into the room.

He was on his room throne, flipping through proposals, throwing them away after reading them, "father", I greeted and he looked up smiling.

"Do you need anything my dear?", He asked nicely which was pretty unusual,

"I just want to know why you are getting me married to Lucian", I asked and he sighed.

"My dear?, Do you not wish to be with a man who can protect you and eliminate your enemies?", He said,

"He's not the only man, why does it have to be him?, Why did you have to go as far as getting me married to a murderer?", I asked and he just smiled.

"My dear, a princess should not rely on rumors but should think from her brain, "what you think might not be true", but whether it is true or not I'm sure Lucian will be able to protect you like he did today".

He didn't look very good but since he always had that type of a face on, but this one looked slightly different but it didn't matter, he won't tell me what the problem is anyway even if I asked.

"I'm sure you didn't notice something in his eyes, I found them off before but now understood it, his willing to protect you, the anger, rage, sense of responsibility burning in his eyes told me he was the right man,

At first I thought he liked you but when I asked him, his casual reply was......." The moment you become my responsibility, I would do whatever it takes to protect you", that word like a spear in my heart, then I realized something, he's the one that can protect you, he's the only man on Earth that can protect you, in the future", he said.

"You keep talking of the future?, What exactly is going to happen in the future?, Even if there is a problem in the future my family will protect me, you, Louis, you both will protect us, I want to be with the others!", I said and his expression changed a bit.

"Family?, What family?, Do you think you have a family?, You are alone in this, there is no one for you, who do you think are your family?, Amelia?,Sara, Louis?, Or the queen herself?, When a problem arise, you will be the least of their worries, they will fight for themselves",

He said silently.

"I won't be able to tell you in full details but there will be a future war!, I'm sure you didn't hear that our bomb accidentally breached the Arabis Boarder", my father said and I gasped,

"The Arabis that took 20 human sacrifice, including pregnant women with newborns just to settle the disputes for absolutely no reason, the one you always told us about", the Arabis of course are human slayers, they are known for never losing a war, they are brutal and have no Mercy, they started a war 40 years ago because a boy threw a stone at their horse, they killed the boy and waged war, the war claimed a lot of life and they had the kingdom which was a small village then in their Palm, they were going to kill everyone with bombs but people decided to sacrifice their lives for the sake of others, A very sad story.

"So think about who is going to protect you then, me?, With my old and feeble bones?, Louis?, He's a coward who hides in war, and he Will seek his own family and protect them with his little strength, you Will be left alone,but before that day comes, I want you to be safe,so you won't be alone, and I'm not going to watch the Arabis have what they want this time, I will fight even though I fail, I will restore the honor of our kingdom and be happy to take my last breath for my people, the only person that can protect you then is no Lucian,

You don't have to love him, you just have to go with him, the moment you adapt to his way, I will be rest assured, but I assure you that....... Lucian is..... Going to protect you, you are in safe hands my dear, just try to live in his world, over there you will get whatever you want, a ball,dress?, Food, anything you want, like a queen and when everything is settled, I will make sure to bring you back", he said and I turned slowly walking away like there was no soul in me.

Of course anyone who be stupid enough to leave after hearing that but that is exactly what I will do, war or no war, none of my business, and who knows maybe they are both lying just to get me to go with that son of a b***h.

Who is he anyway?, How did he manage to brainwash my dad, what was that?, "Responsibility my foot, so my conclusion is that.... , I'm Leaving!, And there is nothing anyone can do or say to change my mind....

I'm not going with Luciano or Lucian whatever they call him and that's final.

"I want the best wedding dress, something not too long and easy to run with", I said to madam Elina, the palace seamstress, she stared at me amusingly, she opened her mouth to say something but closed them back probably changing her mind and noted it down.

"That is exactly what Prince Lucian said when he came to check on the process, not too long and easy to run with, I guess you both have the same thinking mind, young couples think alike", Madam Elina said and I was quite startled, "what!?", Is he aware that I'm running away?, "No way!!!!!"
