HOME OR HELL

POV(ANASTASIA),
The horse stopped in front of a tall building, more like a tower, "Get down", Lucian whispered into my ear and I tried to jump as he held me by the neck.
"Wait chipmunk", he said and dismounted on the horse, "here", Lucian said, stretching him arm with his palm widely open.
"Uh!?", I asked suprisingly and his expression said it all, "just take my hand", he said and I literally took his hand almost immediately.
I landed safely, almost like he did all the work, simply putting it in one word, he carried me.
My gown was a little bit crumbled so I bent a little to straighten it, "stop that!", Lucian said and raised my face up, I turned and saw a whole lot of people were watching, but what has tha got to do with me straightening my dress.
Lucian bent slightly and straightened the crumbled part, "is that okay?", He asked and I suddenly felt the urge to put him through a little bit of trouble.
"No the other side, and my shoes don't really fit in........", I Said and he frowned, but I guess he wanted to pretend in front of the people as to how he bent over to do it, "you just have to put the sock in well", I said and he did it frowning and slowly it faded,his frown Soon turned into a normal look.
"Done", he said and stood up straight, "is this the palace?", I ask and he nodded slightly, "it is you fool", he murmmured and sighed, "let's go in my lady!", A cute skinny young lady said and I could sense she was a maid judging by her dress.
I followed her in and the first step into the palace was heavenly, it felt like a stone was on my shoulder before and it suddenly vanished, it got me thinking, "is this home?, Or hell?", I don't know, I just want to live.
We walked through a long dark hall and it felt like it was never ending which was annoying, we went through various passages and I couldn't find time to remember all of that.
We stopped in front of a large gigantic door,
"Here is your room, my lady, you will be staying here, if you need anything, you can just call out for me, I will be at your service", she said and frowned, more like the maid's in his palace are strict, but I'm not buying it though, let's make friends, "what is your name?", I asked and she looked quite startled.
"It's..........Tia..........Tia Galloway, my Lady", she stuttered and it was quite cute, the way she stuttered, every thing about her looked perfect,no flaws, "I'm Anastasia", I said and she bowed slightly and rushed away, what was that?.
I opened the door slightly and the sight of the room was breath taking, the size of the room was 4 times the size of my room back at home which was quite unusual.
The bed was extraordinarily big and it gave a very reassuring taste to avoid falling when sleeping, i sighed and saw the makeup mirror at a side, aside from that, the room was empty, but there was two doors.
I walked to the one closest to the bed and pushed it open, and ta-da there was another room......?..., No it's a dressing room, dresses lined up in different versions and it was the best sight ever, there was a jewelry center, tons of jewelries, I walked to it and the sight was amazing, they glittered in many colors and it felt magical.
It felt like I should put them all on, but what's the point?........... so I just went into singing.
"Wanting it all................."
"Wanting everything that glitters"
"Isn't it so nice over here?"
"I get whatever I want...."
"I wanna dress up"
"I want to look good like the others do!"
"But what's the point?......."
"When........ it's....... just me?",
I paused and just like the lyrics, I spoke my heart, "or maybe that doesn't matter?, Maybe....... I should just like life to the fullest?", I said and ran to the bed slumping on it.
"This feels good", I mumbled to myself and truly, the feeling of the bed was a heavenly feeling, I could feel a lot of things by just lying on it.
A knock came from the door and I sat up as I cleared my throat, "come in", i said and Tia stepped into the room, closing the door behind her slightly.
"What is the problem Tia?", I asked and she frowned, "your presence is required at the family gathering dinner, Prince Lucian said it's a must", Tia said and I sighed.
"Where is it being held?, I mean there's no way I can find the dinning hall in this large building", I said and Tia smiled and it was actually cute, it was the first smile I saw, "please follow me", she said and I stood up slowly stretching.
I walked to her and once again we walked up countless stairs, passing by series of doors, "are we there yet?", I asked and Tia gave no response, she's just so annoying.
"Here my lady", Tia said pointing at a scary door, "oh..... really?, Then.... Thank you, I'll just go in then", I said and she just stared.
I stretched my hand to open the door and Tia did it before I could reach it with a smile on her face, she opened the door widely and I couldn't believe my eyes, the family is a very big one, unlike mine.
7 sons and 4 daughters?, 11 in total?, This is crazy, and that annoying viking King was seating at the head of the table, but where is Lucian?, He's not here?, So that means he's the 8th son?, So where is he?, I thought he said it was a must to attend?, Did he leave me alone with this blood sucking monsters on purpose?, How dare he.
I lost all my courage totake a step further as I just stared as they all stared at me, "is she the one?,", "The bride?, Unbelievable!", "She's too short", "she looks weak and wierd", "her appearance annoys me", I heard all of this, but there's no use of fighting, it will just make things more complicated.
I took a step back in reverse and was about to take the other one back when someone caught me by the caught, "am I late?", Lucian said smiling and a smile came over my face.
Yes my courage is bad, with him right here?, I'm the safest person on Earth, I'm super safe, they can't do nothing.
We both took a step atbone and that's when it occurred to me, "where is this place?", But that isn't really the question, the real question is........is this place going to be a, "HOME OR HELL?".
