Episode 12: what's up there?!!!

"it's time", my father said placing his hand on my head slowly, he had tears in his eyes and he did his best for them not to fall.

The whole maids, guests and all royals were all behind him to bid me goodbye, "my service ends here, my Lady", Madam Pika said and smiled holding my hands tears in her eyes.

Most of the maid's started to cry, I thought I was not loved until they all started to cry, I swore not to cry but it was getting contagious, tears started to well up in my eyes, and that's when I realized........ I will miss this place, that's when I realized, this is my last moment here, that's when I realized I might not see any of them soon or maybe forever.

So I thought I should end our last moments together happily, I walked to madam Elina and hugged her tightly as tears fell endlessly, "farewell my lady", she said silently and I nodded.

I walked to the maid's and hugged them all one by one, "farewell my lady, long live my lady", they chorused and I couldn't help but smile admist the tears.

I couldn't hug them all so I walked to the royals, the queen and her little bitches, Louis and Amelia were not there and I know it might seem suspicious, and the most surprising thing happened.

Queen Medina had tears filled in her eyes, "you little b***h get over here and give me a hug!", She said and I rushed to her hugging her, I must have missed this part but she breastfed me till I grew up alongside her children, I don't know if she liked me or she just took it as a duty, but she's half a mother to me, just acts crazy sometimes.

"Hey!... Don't die, you just have to stay indoors all time okay?, And if you feel like you are tired, you can just come running back home", she said and I nodded even though it wasn't happening, but it seemed to me like she saw danger in where I was going.

Of course if I go with Lucian there will be danger ahead, his family is against me and they can do crazy things for the throne.

"Good luck half sis", Sara said and handed me a bottle of wine, it was something sisters gave to each other as presents at times like this, I've wanted to have someone give me this but finally it's happening!, "Thank you half sis, I'll keep it well", I said and the other princess just bowed slightly like they were mourning.

I sighed and walked to the car as I wiped my tears, it was time, it was the first time taking a car, I've always wanted to take a car but not like this, "farewell my lady", they all chorused and my father nodded slightly and raised his right hand slowly.

I stepped into the car hastily to avoid them seeing my tear filled eyes,I sat in the car and the door was closed shut loudly.

I looked out of the window and then I realized, this might be the last time I see them, and then I realized that I had been wrong all along, I have a family and they are standing right there, they are looking at me right now, and right now, I'm inside the car of a total stranger going with total strangers, Lucian is still inside the hall, don't know why he didn't come out but i kind of like the feeling that he didn't come out, or might be feeling nervous.

"I can do this, I just have to keep my eyes open and monitor the road", I mumbled to myself and rested my head on the glass window, it was cold outside but now it's warm?, Wierd?.

I kept my eyes on the road and looked for the. Monkey Forest sign board, 12 people on horses were coming from behind, I saw the sign board from afar and I knew it was time.

"Stop!", I said smiling, "15 minutes break", I said and they all stopped, "the monkey Forest is ahead we can't put you to risk, we can take a stop when we get a little bit farther", a guy on a horse said and I frowned, "are you my boss?, Do you not love your job?!!!, Take a stop before I cut off your tongue", I yelled and he bowed slightly.

"Take a stop!", He ordered and they did, almost immediately, most of them went to urinate but he stood by the car like a watchman, this is my chance.

I opened the car slightly when he wasn't looking and closed the door slightly, I ran into the forest by the side and ran as fast as I could going forward straight to the monkey Forest.

I ran into the monkey Forest and Louis and Amelia were already waiting, on a horse, "hop on", Louis said and I hopped on his horse, "ha!", He signaled the horse and it ran straight into the forest.

Louis was behind me and the ride was amazing, fast and steady, I thought wolves would come running the moment we entered the forest but there was nothing, not even a sound.

The horse ran very fast and the ride went great, 20minutes away the horse hit his leg on something, a stone or something, he went tripping and I flew into mid air, Louis fell already and I didn't want to fall on something dangerous, the wind hit my back on a tree, it felt like my spinal cord was broken, but it wasn't, a sharp pain jolted through my back, as my back ached.

Louis ran too me and tried to life me up, Amelia's horse came running and fell too, like there was an invisible stone there, she fell onto some pile of leaves so she didn't get hurt.

"There's nothing here, but why did we fall?", Amelia said inspecting the area, we heard some howling from a distance and it seemed this distance was very near.

The horses ran away in fright and I tried to stand up as I trembled in fear, Louis stood at the front and j was at the back, Amelia came to stand behind him with her hands on her chest.

"Is that a wolf?", Amelia said point I at a Dark area, there was a figure there, on four feets, glittering eyes and growling, it was a wolf, "it's a wolf, but I heard they move in packs, so there's more Right?", I said and like I said, we were surrounded by wolves, growling from all around us, and unless we are sacrificing Louis to the wolves we gotta act on our own.

The wolves approached me, like one was coming at me, I turned to run and hit my head on a tree, I fell to the floor and I couldn't move since I was hurt, my back and my leg, the wolf came running, at that moment, I wished I had gone in the car, I wished all of this had never happened, I wished......... None of these never happened, if I knew this was the type of death I would experience, I would have trusted my feelings and went with Lucian.

I closed my eyes slowly and prayed silently in my mind, "Lord....... Please help me, I know it foolish and stupid of me to ask but........ I don't want to die, even if it means going with Lucian, I would go a million times, even if it's Lucian, a savior, a savior that would protect me right now, Lord please", I prayed silently and picked up a tiny stick beside me.

I wished Louis had listened to me.

Epilogue

POV(ANASTASIA)

20 minutes ago(monkey forest)

"Hop on Ana", Louis said and I felt hesitant, "Louis you know....... Maybe I should probably go with Lucian?", I said and they both fell silent, "it's not too late, I can just go back there like I went out for a while, I'm sure they'll believe it, it might prevent danger for us", I said and the expression on their face said it all.

"So you want to go with Lucian?, Sis!!, I told you she was in love with him!, I wasted my time and for what?, For nothing, okay, I let you go, but don't ever try seeking my help ever again, whatever it is, unless you are going with me!!".

And that was it, how I didn't trust my feelings and acted based on sympathy.
