CHAPTER THIRTEEN “Are you sure you are well enough to be moving about?” The question came from Arian from her spot in the middle of my bedroom. For my part, I stood in front of the crackling fire nestled in the hearth and warmed my hands. “I feel just fine now,” I assured her as I rubbed my palms together.
