“It’s too soon, after Cal I mean,” Kevin said into the phone. “Yes, but I know what you’re like, love,” Peter replied. “You start building up all these fantasies in your head, and you get upset when they don’t come true.” “Yeah.” Kevin swallowed a sob. “You know me too well.” “That’s because we were separated at birth.
