Meet me (Cade)

Hi, my name is Cade. I am 20 years old and I am in college. I’m from Cancún, Mexico but some of my childhood was spent in Spain because of my dad who worked here. We have a tiny house in the south.

I arrived here, in Spain two days ago. I missed Spain and my friends. We hang out all day usually in the park in front of my house and even go to the beach since is just 20 minutes by car. We know a secret beach that is always empty and where the waves are perfect for surfing. I go there with my friends surfing, have fun and relax. I sometimes go there alone to clear my thoughts and just look at the sea and listen to the sound of the waves. It is so quiet and so much peace.

Today I decided to take a walk in the beautiful garden of the park. That’s when I saw a pretty girl that caught my eye, walking around like she already knew the place. I don’t think I ever saw her and I know almost all the people here. I don’t think she’s from around here but she seems familiar with the place. Maybe she visited this place before. I want to know more about her. She seems so mysterious, curious and at the same time so simple, like nothing can scare her but also seems sensitive.

“Bro, what are you starring at?” A voice interrupts me and realized my friends came.

”Nothing”, I replied “I was just walking around. What are you doing here?”

“We were going to eat and David saw you. We came by to ask you if you want to eat with us.”

“Yeah, sure. Let’s go.” I looked at her one more time, she was sitting on the grass looking at the dogs playing, and left. “Where are we going to eat, guys?”

“We were thinking about that bar that’s near my house. They have a very good tortilla there.” José said.

After we ate i went home to do some work for collage and I just can’t stop thinking about that girl. It just pops up in my head every time I want to do something. I want to know more about her. “It’s late I think I’m going to go to bed.”
