chapter three- uncertainty

Chiara's eyes scanned the crowd for what felt like the hundredth time,her heart sinking with each passing moment,Sally was nowhere to be found,she had been right beside her during the invasion but now.......now she is gone .

A cold dread crept up chiara's spine as she saw a gruesome sight unfold right In front of her eyes as she saw children who were below eighteen ,who do not have strength were being brutally eliminated,even as she closed her eyes ,she was still sick to her stomach.As for the women,they were quickly distributed to take on various task in the pack, regardless of their previous status or rank.it didn't matter if you were a high ranking member or servant,everyone was treated like an omega now .Chiara saw women who had once been respected and admired,now reduced to servitude and submission ,if not for the situation on ground she would be laughing her heart out now.

Chiara mind raced with questions ,what had happened to Sally? and what did the pack plan go to do with them ? ,The uncertainty was suffocating,and Chiara couldn't shake off the feeling of dread that settled in the pit of her stomach. As she sat there, trying to make sense of the chaos around her, a warrior approached her "You come with me ",he growled ,his eyes cold and unyielding.

Chiara hesitated unsure of what to do ,but as the warrior grip on her tightened,she knew she had no choice ,she stood up,her heart pounding in her chest as she followed him unsure of where they were going to ,As Chiara followed the warrior she couldn't help but notice the way he looked at her ,his eyes seemed to linger on her body,as she felt a shiver run down her spine ,she tried to shake off the feeling, telling herself she was being paranoid.

As the warrior led Chiara away,his eyes gleamed with a sinister intent ,Chiara heart raced with fear sensing his motive,but before he could drag her into the shadow ,a large growl echoed through the air.
