Chapter 7I’d been careless that day in the stables; I’d let my desire for Cashel cloud my judgement. If my mother hadn’t flown in to warn me, I may not have noticed our ambushers until it was too late, and Cashel could’ve been lost. I was furious with myself, which was why I had to back away, to watch for danger. Until the remaining Brithornes had been dealt with, Cashel wasn’t safe. One down, two to go.
