Chapter 6Two nights later, Quiller and Garnet returned to my room. The sun had only just gone down, so it was very early for us. Hardly anyone in the palace was awake yet, and Garnet was still sleepy. “Put your right hand on each other’s shoulders,” Quiller told us quietly. I placed my hand on Garnet, and he did the same.
