Her restaurant: This time she decided to contact her mami in her maternal grandmother’s house. She was one of the best cooks she knew of. So one day she contacted her mam and mami and gave them a proposition of being a partner on profit sharing basis. To her surprise her mama agreed and mami joined her in the restaurant. She was to supervise all cooking and Surbhi was to look after every other thing. The deal was done and the restaurant opened its door to the customers. It was to specialise in Bengali food. The restaurant was doing well the months that it was there till now. Every Saturday the doors were opened to poor for food. Her hospital: Now was the time to try and open a hospital. It was a daunting task in India that to in west Bengal. She decided to write letters to every rich person in the country for financial assistance. No one even replied to her letter. No politician including the prime minister and the chief minister. She remembered that during her sickness she had appealed for help everywhere but none had even replied. This country does not help its needy. It’s a country of flashbulbs. So I decided to collect money by organising shows of celebrities across the country and also by appealing to the general public. It worked not the show part but donations from general public. The first brick of my hospital was laid on a patch of ground donated by a rich man for charity purpose. When god wills everything falls into place.
