40 Nick I don’t fancy another day of moping around the house, but I do want to see if my post on the dark web has had any replies, so I decide to head round to Alan’s. McKenna will know – somehow – but I don’t think it’d be unreasonable to argue that even the most unsociable of people would want to seek comfort in the arms of friends when their daughter has gone missing. When I get to Alan’s, I see he’s left the laptop on the same spot on the dining table, untouched.
