Chapter Two: The Beauty Of Hotep

***Rosemary POV***

"Welcome to Hotep Island! My name is Mariposa. I will show you to your rooms! Follow me, please," greeted a sweet little Asian lady, her silver and white hair tied into a tight bun.

She wore silky white robes that flowed behind her like billowing smoke.

She had a very uplifting aura around her. I liked her!

Richard had dropped us off on the island of Hotep ,where two white jeeps were waiting for us. We drove up the small roads that were barely visible due to the thick green brush.

The smell and humidity of the plants were remarkable. The air was so pure and clean. It reminded me of fresh-cut grass and the greenhouse back home that I loved to spend my time in to read or get away from everyone.

The satiny soft fern branches reaching out tickled my skin as we drove along, making our way to the island's center to where we would be staying.

Hotep was paradise!!

Something about Hotep brought peace and tranquility to my soul.

The massive palm trees spread out like massive umbrellas with their thick, rich dark green leaves.

Rope-like vines crawled up the palm trees. Their bright green color reminded me of the little green field snakes back home that Alexander and I would catch.

Hibiscus of every color you could think of spread across the island's forest like a rainbow of pastel colors, pinks, blues, yellows, purples, and white.

The air was heavy with the scent of flowers, moss, and coconuts as I took a deep breath, savoring every second of this beautiful habitat.

The exotic bird's beautiful song echoed through the treetops.

We drove to the island's center, where a giant dome-like structure of white stone peeked out through the overgrowth of vines and moss.

It reminded me of Roman Empire buildings from the books I have read.

White cockatiels could be seen perched on the thick rope-like vines that stretched out like long boney fingers reaching for the beautiful blue sky and golden sun.

The windows were enormous without glass overlooking Hotep Island.

Outside, standing under a large stone archway covered in wild pink roses, was Mariposa waiting for us with a friendly dimpled smile on her face.

The aroma of the wild roses smelled like my mom, safe and welcoming.

Inside the stone building were wild plants growing on the walls. Their leaves looked like dark green hearts with gold speckles.

The stone flooring was littered with crunchy dried-up green and brown leaves that made a satisfying crunch under my sandals.

White and gold butterflies danced through the hallways as Mariposa led the way to our rooms.

"After I show you all your rooms, you are free to explore the island as you wish!

If you are hungry, feel free to ring the little crystal bells in your rooms, food will be brought to you by one of our staff members.

Everything you need will be in your rooms, and your bags are there as well", Mariposa explained as she led us through the stone hallways.

As Alexander and I took in our unique surroundings, Nana, Poppa, Mom, and Dad walked ahead.

Crystal Lake was magnificent, being its piece of Heaven, but I adored this hidden tropical gem. It felt like it held millions of secrets waiting to be found.

"Look, it's a white bunny!!" Ella announced, her ears perking up in excitement.

I looked at the stone flooring. Sure enough, a white bunny hopped past me.

"This place is incredible!!" said Mom, trailing her fingers along the wall, stopping to touch a large pink hibiscus before smelling it.

"The Elders believe we should live as close to nature as possible. Everything the Moon Goddess has blessed us can come and go as it pleases.

Ahh, here is our first room for the young Alpha's", Mariposa announced, opening two doors concealed from the soft green-rich mossy walls.

Alexander and I stepped inside.

My jaw hit the floor.

The room had a massive opening where a wall should be that overlooked the crystal clear blue ocean below with its sandy pure white beach.

Thick purple and green vines covered the walls and the rich, thick fluffy moss from the hallways.

Water poured down the massive opening like small waterfalls, creating a rainbow stretching across the open space.

This was much better than a wall or window!!

The sight, the smell, and the sounds were soothing.

Two large beds with white silk bedsheets and large fluffy pillows faced the opening with a table and chairs at the foot of the beds for dining.

On top of the table was a translucent light pink crystal bell with golden-metal-like vines twisted around it, twisting up into a handle.

"Ooo pretty!! Don't let Alexander touch it!! It looks like it will break!" Ella mumbled.

I held back a giggle as I brushed my wild curls out of my face to look around the room more.

Our luggage sat at the foot of our beds.

The washroom was at the back of the room, just as beautiful as the bedroom.

"Whoa!!! What a sight!!" gasped Alexander as he walked towards the opening overlooking the island and ocean.

"Oh wow!!! I can't wait to see our room," said Nanna, her eyes wide in shock.

"If you follow me, Miss Barbra and John, your room is joined to this one," Mariposa said, walking to the other side of the room, pulling back the vines on the wall to reveal a room similar to ours.

"This is better than our honeymoon!!" said Poppa as he took in the sight around him.

"I'm speechless!!" said Nanna as she sat on her bed.

"Well, that's a first," laughed Dad.

"Watch it!" snarled Nanna.

Mom came behind me, laughing at Dad and Nana bickering playfully back and forth.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?! You guys want to go to the beach?" Mom asked as she gently pulled me into a hug.

Her floral scent washed over me, reminding me how much I loved her gentle embrace.

"Hell yeah!!!" shouted Alexander as he did a swan dive onto his bed, sending silky pillows flying in every direction.

Mariposa watched us all take in Hotep's beauty, her lined face smiling brightly.

"Alpha, Luna, if you follow me, I will take you to your room. You are the guests of honor. At the Elder's request, you have the room on the top floor", Mariposa explained as she made her way out of our room.

" OK, you guys get ready, and we will call on you when we are ready?" Mom said, kissing me on the cheek before Dad took her by the hand.

I loved how cheerful my mom looked compared to what she did in the past. Even though we had been reborn, I still had memories of our lives previously.

It was a secret I kept to myself.

My memories never bothered me, the past was the past, and I accepted that.

Seeing my mother and brother happy was all that mattered.

Dad treated mom so amazingly. She never had a moment where she looked unhappy.

He treated her like the Queen and Alexander and me like the precious jewels he said we were.

"Sounds good to me!!" I said, giving them a thumbs up.

I watched as they followed Mariposa out of our room before jumping onto the pillowy soft bed I get to sleep on during my stay.

"This is going to be exciting!!" Ella said excitedly, wagging her tail.

I nodded in agreement as I felt the cool soft silk bedsheets beneath my hands.

***Lisa's POV***

Noah and I followed Mariposa up a set of stone stairs that led to the top floor of the building—glancing out past the pillars that overlooked the forest and ocean.

"This seems like a place Elves would live in," I pointed out to Noah as we reached the top of the stairs to a set of doors made of twisted roots.

"The Elves built it for the Elders many, many centuries ago," smiled Mariposa as she opened the doors for us.

As the doors opened, white doves fluttered from the room, flying out the numerous large open windows that surrounded the room.

White flowering plants spilled over the window ledges trailing into the room and up the pillars.

In the center of the room was a large bed with a canopy frame of twisted soft brown logs.

Sheer curtains hung around the canopy, gently flowing in the warm breeze through the windows.

A table for two sat by the large open windows with our little pink crystal bell shimmering in the sunlight.

A large curtain split the room in half where the bathroom was. The bathroom consisted of a large stone bath and the usual necessities.

Large gold and white pots overflowed with lavender, white, and pink roses.

Purple sage and eucalyptus bundles hung from the ceiling over the bath.

I walked around in amazement, taking in the smell, gently touching the silky rose petals.

"The hot bath water steam helps activate the sage and eucalyptus; it is very relaxing. It clears your lungs and thoughts", Mariposa explained, taking a deep breath while gently patting her plump cheeks.

I stepped to Mariposa as Noah let a little white butterfly land on his finger.

He was so adorable, holding the butterfly up to his face to get a better look.

The white butterfly reflected off of his blue eyes.

"This place is beyond any words I can think of, Mariposa. Thank you for showing us to our room. Out of curiosity, how do we fill it up if one wanted a bath?" I asked, looking at the large stone bath that had no faucet.

Mariposa walked over to the stone bath, gently running her small hand along the edge of it.

"Magic, my dear, gently knock on the bath a few times, and it will start to fill up with Epson salts and herbs. You will love it, I promise!! Is there anything you want to know or need, my dear?" Mariposa asked as we turned around to see if Noah had any questions.

Mariposa and I laughed as Noah stood there with a dozen white and gold butterflies perched on his arms.

He even had a butterfly sitting on his nose, gently opening and closing its wings.

"Look at you, Alpha, the butterfly Whisperer," chuckled Mariposa.

Noah chuckled, which sent all the butterflies fluttering away.

I walked up to Noah, smiling. For an Alpha, he was the sweetest, kindest Alpha you could meet.

He looked like a little boy lost in a world of wonderment.

I wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him closer, his jet-black hair messy from the ferry hung down on his face.

"The big bag wolf likes butterflies," I teased him by reaching up to play with the opening of his shirt.

Noah rolled his eyes, grabbing me by the waist before flinging me over his shoulder.

I let out a playful squeal as he turned around to face Mariposa.

I couldn't see Mariposa, but she could see my ass. I'm sure she was smiling from ear to ear.

How embarrassing!!

"Oh my, such a strong Alpha mhmm, alright, I will leave you two, love, bird's alone now!!! Enjoy your stay. I will return tomorrow to help you prepare for the inauguration!!! Have fun!!" Mariposa snickered before heading out of our room.

I shook my head, knowing she was eyeing my beautiful lean mate and getting a giggle of my butt facing her.

Without warning, Noah gave my bottom a quick smack.

A moan of shock and pleasure escaped my lips before he sat me on the bed.

"This place is incredible!!! I can't wait to check out the beach!!! or that bath tonight!!" I said eagerly as Noah slowly pushed me back onto the bed that felt like a cloud beneath me.

His mischievous blue eyes looked up at me as he slid my tank top up; his soft hot lips showered my stomach and hips with electrical kisses.

I couldn't help but succumb to his touch. My body naturally stretched and arched on the bed, taking in every bit of the sounds and smells around me mixed in with my mate's intoxicating scent.

"I love it when you do that," I purred, running my fingers through Noah's soft messy black hair.

"I love it when your body reacts to my touch," growled Noah, sliding my tank top up higher, exposing my breasts.

I helped him by taking off my tank top as he slid my shorts off, tossing them to the floor as he stood up to take off his clothes.

Noah, standing at the foot of the bed completely naked with the amazing view surrounding us, was just too much to handle.

I slid back on the bed a little further, biting my lip at the delicious sight of my mate's lean tattooed muscular body and pale skin.

Seeing me biting my lip, Noah had his massive thick member spring to life. My breath quickened at the sight of knowing it would be inside me.

I jumped up and cleaned myself off quickly before grabbing a pink two-piece while Noah wore a pair of white swim shorts.

I pulled my braid out to let my hair hang loose. The warm breeze felt amazing.

"Alright, my beautiful wife, let's go check out the beach!!!" Noah said before pulling me into a hot kiss.

"Mmm, stop, or we won't make it" I playfully licked his cheek.

"Come on, guys, what's taking so long?!?! Oh God, you guys aren't..." Alexander's voice got really quiet.

"Would you want to know, son?!" Noah playfully responded.

Barbra, John, and Rosemary's laugh filled our minds along with our wolves.

"..... let's just go already!!!" Alexander huffed.

" OK!!! Race you there," I shouted before grabbing Noah by the hand, jumping out our window, and spreading my white flaming wings.

"CHEATER!!!" Shouted Alexander.

Noah and I laughed as we flew over the palm trees before landing on the crystal white sand.

Alexander, John, Rosemary, and Barbra came busting through the bushes.

"There were no rules!!! We won!!" I shouted before running off into the inviting water that crashed behind me.

The atmosphere around us quickly replaced with squeals, giggles, laughter, and screams from the cool ocean water splashed around us.

What a fun way to spend the day before tomorrow!!

"Indeed," said Raven, enjoying us running around.
