I THINK IT'S A HARMLESS CRUSH

Lisa woke very early, she had her bath, freshened up looking good on her sea green crop top, and ash joggers, revealing her belly button and waist line.she applied some lipgloss, then paused.

"Why am i applying lipgloss so early?, it's not like i'm not pretty.huh!, wonder what he thinks of me, well whatever i'm happy i also saved someone ", lisa muttered to herself.

She came down for breakfast when everyone was set already except Ethan.

"Where's Eth?",....everyone glanced her suspiciously

"Wow!, lisa got a pet name for him already?", Austin said smiling

"Oh!, did i just say that?, come on it's a harmless pet name, don't you think Ethan is kind -a long?????", she said while staring at her parents.

"You didn't greet lisa", Austin reminded

"Oh!. I'm sorry.Good morning mum, morning dad.Hi Austin ", she smiled

"Morning princess.How was your night?", her dad asked

"Great!"

"Hi Austin?, lisa what's gotten into you?", her mum questioned

"Morning bro", lisa said with a fake smile

"I don't need your greetings ", Austin replies

Ethan comes down

"Good morning sir.Good morning ma. Hi Austin "

Everyone responds

"Take a seat son", Lisa's dad said

Ethan sat near Austin

Lisa placed her palms together and closed her eyes

"Dear lord i thank you for today, i pray u bless my parents, give us Grace, help Ethan meet his family savely, make me beautiful each day, grant me success in getting admission.Amen"

"Beautiful my foot ", Austin commented

"Austin?", his mum called with a warning

"Fine!. Dear lord help every soul who needs you.Bless the day Amen"

"That's good Austin ", his mum said

"Your turn Ethan", mrs kate told Ethan

"Me?", he asked looking confused

"Yes my boy", mr donald added

"Ok. Dear lord show mercy to the ignorant, help the less privileged, physically challenged, above all, make us have a peaceful and great day ahead with high hopes.let our dreams com e true.I pray.Amen"

"Wow!, i love that.Honey did you hear him pray?", mrs kate asked in awe

"You're disciplined.I must say your parents raised you well",, mr donald added

"I wasn't raised by my parents. I've never met them"

Lisa felt sad and broken

"It must have been hard for you.I'm sorry ", Mrs kate said

"Then you raised yourself in a great way.so, which college are you attending?"

"I plan to enroll in one here "

"That's positive ", mr donald said

"Do you have any family here in Newshore?", Austin asked

"My aunt "

"Oh!, nice ", mrs kate smiled

"Are you leaving today?", mr donald asked

"Of course not dad.Diamond street is miles away from here, he could go tomorrow please 🥺", lisa pleaded

"Don't make it look like D street is so far", Austin argued

"That's fine. I'm leaving for work .Breakfast was great today with you around Ethan.", mr donald said, smiled and walked out
