Ray was relaxing with the newspaper when his cell phone rang. Pulling it from his pocket, he answered. “Hi, son. I didn’t expect to hear from you today. I thought you guys were going to the ocean for the weekend.”
“Hey, Dad, we decided to hang home. Unfortunately, I have a problem and need your help. Vanessa is camped out in front of our house and won’t leave. She knocked on the door until I answered. I told her I wasn’t interested in anything she had to say, but she’s waiting to ambush us. Any chance you could come over and get her to leave?”
