Where Did She Go?!

***Reigns POV***

I'm still in bed waiting for Kieran, when I hear something. As I get out of bed to check it out I feel someone grab me from behind I get excited thinking it was Kieran. But when I turned to see the face I was met with was not Kieran, my heart started racing. I began to try and break free but I couldn't and this man who was before me had this creepy grin on his face. Putting his hand over my mouth but fear set in and it prevented me from screaming anyways, that's when I felt the needle and everything went black.

***Kierans' POV***

When we got back from the mall I headed to find my mother. I wanted to talk to her about how Reign was feeling while we were gone, I had given Reign a kiss while she went upstairs to put her clothes away. I had found my mom in her office, her door was open but I still knocked before entering. She was reading over something that was on her desk but she looked up as I came in smiled and waved for me to take a seat. So I did and waited until she was done. I don't like interrupting her while she's doing business. She gets a little worked up if she can't finish because she'll lose focus and not remember where she was at. I didn't think anything could go wrong in the pack, so I didn't see the immediate danger or threat for me to go ahead and disturb her. I just wanted to tell her and get her advice. Seeing as Reign has been through a lot, she could have been paranoid but I didn't wanna make calls for nothing. I just figured it would be best to discuss it first with her.

It took my mom about 15 minutes to finish, she looked up at me "How is everything going Son?" "When Reign and I were at the mall she kept feeling like she was being watched. But then said maybe she was paranoid, especially with everything she went through. I can only imagine how she must have felt for all those years and having to look over her shoulder all the time in fear of the abuse she endured. I didn't want to set up guards to watch over her and have precautions set in place without first speaking to you to get your advice. I didn't want to upset Father, he doesn't seem too happy I found Reign. So I just wanted your advice on what to do before doing anything." She took in everything I told her, sat thinking for a couple of minutes, "Do you believe it could be a true threat? If so I say go ahead and make the orders happen. If your father gets upset I will handle him. I don't think he's upset you found Reign, but that man has never been good at showing his true emotions, I believe he's happy you found her and just doesn't know how to show it Son." I shook my head to agree to disagree with her. I didn't tell her what he had said before alpha training. So I didn't want to show that I didn't believe her. "I think she truly believes someone is following her. I haven't seen her this nervous before coming here. Someone could truly be following her. So I'll go ahead with the orders. Thanks Mom." With that I got up gave her a quick hug and walked out of her office.

I go and find John, he's my father's head warrior I give him the run down of what Reign had said while we were at the mall before asking "Can you get some of your men together to keep watch over Reign? I know it may be nothing, but I'd rather be safe then sorry." "I'll get on, get a group of men together and a schedule and send it to you once I'm done. That way you know who will do what at what time." "Thanks John I appreciate it a lot." I reply before waving bye and heading to my father's office to inform him of what I have done. I'd rather him hear it from me than John. When I get to my father's office the door is slightly cracked open, so I knock. "Come in!" He yells so I push the door open and take a seat in front of his desk. "Give me a couple of minutes I'll be right with you Son." He tells me. Typical dad has always been a workaholic and will not even speak to you no matter how urgent it may be until he's 100% done with whatever he's doing. Mother was right this man shows no emotions whatsoever, all he knows is work or being an asshole.

He doesn't know how to take time for himself, let alone his family. I guess that's why he makes a good alpha. He could be a better alpha if he actually took time to truly get to know the other pack members, spent time with the pack members and was less of a hard ass. "What is it I can help you with Son?" He asks me while setting his paperwork down. "I just wanted to inform you that I had asked John to get a couple of warriors together to keep an eye out on Reign. When I took her to the mall to go shopping today she felt like she was being watched. Which I know could be nothing, but with what happened before I brought her here I wanted to be safe then sorry. There was a rogue at her home whom her adoptive father had sold her to. This rogue is known to buy women and girls and then sell them off in an auction."

I can tell her was mad at this point, the vein on his forehead started to get bigger and pulse. "ARE YOU REALLY GOING TO WASTE PACK RESOURCES ON A GIRL WHO MAY NOT EVEN BE YOUR MATE AND IF SHE IS YOUR MATE ONE YOU WILL REJECT BECAUSE YOU NEED A STRONG LUNA NOT A BROKEN WORTHLESS LUNA?" He begins to yell at me "DID YOU EVEN BOTHER TO SPEAK TO YOUR MOTHER OR I BEFORE DECIDING TO DO SUCH A STUPID THING? COME ON SON YOU BEEN GONE SINCE YOU WERE 16 LOOKING FOR A GIRL THAT NO ONE HAS SEEM TO BE ABLE FIND BUT YOU! AND NOW YOU'RE NOT EVEN THINKING LIKE AN ALPHA. SHE WILL NOT EVEN BE YOUR LUNA!" He continues to yell. "I actually spoke to Mother first she gave the okay and said if you didn't agree she would deal with you. I only came to you, so you heard it from me first. And I am thinking like an alpha. I'm looking after a future pack member, doing what is needed to be done to protect my pack members. I wouldn't reject Reign if she's my goddess gifted mate, no matter what her past may be. You used to be so for goddess gifted mates because you are stronger with your fated mate than a chosen mate. That's what you said and that's why you still choose mother, because she's your fated mate." I got up and began to walk out of his office to head up to my room to go be with Reign. I tuned my father's yelling out as I walked off.

The closer I got to my room the more something felt off. Reigns scent wasn't as strong as it usually is. That made my heart race in panic, I began to run to my run. I slammed the door open not seeing her in bed I went to the closet she was there. I headed to the bathroom she wasn't there either! I walked back into the main room panicking, the window was wide open but Reigns scent is the only one I could smell and there's no sign of a struggle. Where could she have gone and why?
