“Where are we going?” looking at Mel I asked confused. “We are going to meet my husband and kids at a cabin we own. We’ll, my adoptive parents own.” She answers smiling at me. “You're adopted too?” I ask shyly. “No officially, but they’re more like parents than my step mom. I have no memories of my birth parents either. My step mom had sold me off to my ex husband and a few years later I met my adoptive parents. So it’s a good thing because no one really knows about them besides Jeff and the kids.” She answers smiling yet again.
