Elijah’s POV After we finished dinner, I offered to clean the dishes, but Abigail refused with a soft smile, shaking her head. “No, you don’t need to do that. You’ve had a long day. Go freshen up. I’ll take care of this,” she insisted. I didn’t argue. She was right. The day had been draining, and I was exhausted. “Alright,” I said, giving her a grateful smile before heading to the bathroom.
